Obviously, folks are very passionate about spoilers.  I myself, am the same way. NO SPOILERS. If you have a comment that you feel might contain info about a plot point in a film, book or TV show, use the spoiler tag.  Click the eyeball and use it to hide your content from those who wish to not see the potential spoiler info.  Its easy to use.

This is a huge no-no. We have spoiler tags that are added with one simple click that hides the text for those who don't want your poilers.  Use it or don't post here.

Fully articulated. Every piece that is seperate on a typical Minimate is the same on this one.

I got one too.  I was floored when I saw it.  I was so stunned, my wife asked me what the big deal is.  I don't want to post a picture because I think the creator will be inundated with requests.

I don't consider the PVC mini statues a competitor for Minimates.  I have the Thanos on its way to me and a comparison with Minimates never crossed my mind.  Just my opinion.

Any chance at more Godzilla minis is great news.  Ultraman next please!

Love the Keaton Bats.  It also kinda hurts because this as a Minimate....

Gentle Giant was doomed once they took on the "rock star" persona.  The fanbase was not there for the staff, it was there for the product. Some of it was great, some of it not so much.  I have quite a bit of GG stuff and absolutely love most of what I have.  I hope this creates new avenues for everyone involved.

Minimates and Lego Minifigs are just not the same to me, but I can understand how license mumbo jumbo might perceive them as such.  Regardless, the relationship would need to be lucrative for both parties and maybe it just isn't.

The actual grudge, if there was one, is unknown to me. I had access to a decision maker and asked why they quit on the DC Minimates.  I don't remember the exact quote, but it amounted to "don't like them".  The person is long gone, but was there for a fairly long time, too.  I am not trying to put words in their mouth, but it was said with an arrogant smirk that ended the conversation.

In my modest, non-insider opinion, I have always felt that there were people at DC brand development that just did not like the Minimate medium.  One guy in particular practically admitted it to my face.  A lot of those folks are gone now, so I still keep hope flickering.

We may do something again in the future.  I am hoping we can put together a Geppi Mate type pack but a BHM-Mate instead. 

Tim is still around but a lot less active.

I agree about posting pictures. It would be a lot easier if the Multiverse could host them like we did in the beginning, but server space blew up.

MPL, I am very sorry to hear about your loss.  I lost my Dad 17 years ago and I understand the hole it can leave in your life.  My sincere condolences.

There are still a lot of old-timers around and we still get new folks all the time, but I think the instant gratification crowd does most of their conversing on FB.  I just got some NYCC Battle Beasts to give away, so some folks will trudge back over for that.
