I've been gone for awhile... Just over three months, to be exact. I took a bit of time off after Wizard World Chicago to try to recoup... Anyway, I'm back... with new figures... five of them, to be exact.

They're all in red. One in the Marvel section, three in the Indy section, and one in the various section...

Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.

Zombie Magnum P.I.

I'm sure everyone remembers the final season, and the unexpected turn that it took towards the end. It was truly sad that they resorted to a cheap attempt at keeping the show going... Poor, poor Higgins...

Don't bother looking for those. It was cancelled due to lack of interest. They had actually listed it twice, and the second time it was only $25 and there still wasn't enough orders to justify making it...

I'd have loved to have it, and actually ordered it both times it was listed.

Stripes and The Jerk seem to be missing from the list... As do the Bourne movies. Those are great.

Shamrock, your Red Son Batman is a thing of pure beauty. The rest of the figures look great, but Bat's looks awesome. Well done, sir. Can't wait to see what you're cooking up next.

Your Resident Evil figures look really cool Clayface. Nice work on those. I really like the Nemesis. Good job. I'm seeing alot of improvement in your stuff here lately... And I've gotta go with TBT! here. Make what you want. They're your figures and you can spend time making who you want to.

That's really zarkin cool Fizzle... Very nice work. I love the light-up bits. Pure genius. I wish that I had the room for something like that, or the ambition to make one.

I went with Alpha Flight... what they need to do with these box sets is make smaller characters that wouldn't fit into a regular release line-up anyway... most of the villians sets could be worked into waves, but the only way that we'll ever see a Puck is in a boxset.

And since everybody else is doing a write-in vote, I'm gonna go ahead and do it to:

Dammit Nervous! That looks wonderful... I do think I like the original face better, though... The group shot looks awesome...

They had prototypes of regular DC Direct action figures from this episode on display at WWC, so it might just be possible that these could show up in the Minimate line down the road... However, the costumes aren't really that exciting, and I don't think they'd transfer to the 'Mate look very well...

I saw these last night, in the dark, as I was leaving WWC...

They look great, except in person, the hat on the Question is bigger than it looks in the pictures... Almost really too big.... Really, really too big...

Other than that, I'm pretty excited about these. I'd take or leave the Red Sun figures, as I'm more a "Core-Universe" kinda guy, but they look alright... Better than the new Marvel Minibriks...

Still running and it's awesome. I hated this 'toon at first. Mostly due to the Joker design, but I was able to look past that and really started to enjoy the show in season 2. The end of S4 did indeed show a Justice League, and a very good line-up at that.

I can't wait for Season 5 to start up, and I wouldn't mind some new 'Mates from it either... But I'm just happy to have DC 'Mates again, so I ain't gonna bitch...

Wait, which miniseries is coming? Are you talking about the mates or the comics here?

There's another Marvel Zombie Comic Series coming out later this year... It's all written, and Phillips has started drawing it up... Looks great what I've seen of it so far... The Zombies that were left look to have gotten new body parts to replace those that they had lost...

Perceptor

Nobody, but nobody's making a Perceptor...

All that I really want from this line is the Clownface and Panda 2-pack. Seriously doubt that I'll ever see these at retail around here though.

I think (if I'm remembering correctly) that Prof. X's hoverchair was more in line with a vehicle, and thus not allowed under the license.

Hopefully, we will see some of these figures in the future, though... The ones that we do have are nice, but they're not quite "there"... Rogue needs a jacket! Cyclops always looked more bad-ass! Classic Beast!

I believe that Tigh is holding playing cards.

Six has a chunk of concrete. I won't say why incase anyone hasn't seen the episode yet.

As long as you use acrylic paint, you will have no problem painting the Sculpey.

After looking at the better pics, I've gotta say that I don't like the new "Sculpted" chest at all. Like Boyd said, they look too Kubricky...

Obviously, great minds think alike. I'll have to start working on slogans to promote the cause of non-sculpted Minimate chests. How about "Make My Minimates Smooth!"
