Mystery Man
I'm working on a comic-accurate set of minimates: Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos! Having some trouble finishing them up, however, as I don't paint/sculpt. I only match parts and do things that require only a modicum of glue/cutting. I'm looking for a couple of hats now to round out who I've put together. I thought somebody might know of another toy line that would have something I could kit-bash to make work. I need a hat for Percival Pinkerton: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3WxJpVvDOuM/Sn0Cys4w_-I/AAAAAAAAAOA/6av9qwoFSGQ/s200/PINKERTON.JPG and "Reb" Ralston: http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20101023185745/marveldatabase/images/thumb/3/3f/Robert_Ralston_%28Earth-80920%29.jpg/251px-Robert_Ralston_%28Earth-80920%29.jpg Thanks for any help! bilbofett
if you can find the old Stargate line cheap. The Kurt Russell character has a beret. I had it and lost somewhere. The figures are about 5 inches so the hat should be big enough. As for the 2nd, the Buford Tannen hat from BTTF 3 set might work. hope that helps
Mystery Man
I think that Buford hat will be perfect! Don't know if I really want to mess with my only Bufford, but I'm strongly considering it. Thanks as well for the Stargate beret lead! -M
mwattsart
When I made Bill from Left 4 Dead, I used an exacto knife to reshape M. Bison's hat. Don't know if that is a possibility for you to do.
