To be fair other than daredevils masks and s2 daredevils chain and duct tape hands, and i think elektras hairpiece, every thing else in the defenders box sets have parts reuses

Well i just finished the series and

overall the set really just gets more disappointing the more you think about it

Predictions for defenders, definitely need two boxsets

Set 1

Daredevil (not sure what could be done to differentiate it from the other one, angry facial expression?)

Jessica( hopefully with a new sculp for her jacket and scarf this time)

Alexandra ( Weavers character, presumed main antagonist)

Hogarth (been on every series so far, definitely deserves a figure)

Set 2

Luke (yellow shirt)

Iron Fist (hopefully in costume this time around)

Madame Gao (granted not confirmed but pretty much has to be there)

Turk Barret (probably not gonna happen but come on, it's Turk Barret baby)

Not sure who else we could use, most of the other characters confirmed for defenders (Foggy, Stick, Karen, Elektra(?), Claire, Trish, Misty, and Coleen) already have figures, maybe a hand ninja? They seem like they might play a big role in the series, maybe some other unannounced huge antagonist? Maybe a new Claire, as someone on here mentioned before, the Claire mate we have now is pretty scene specific, a new one wouldn't hurt

Half way through the series, danny wears black suits in the series, they easily could have reused the matt murdock gimmick instead of the second danny hell I would've much preferred an alternate look of him in a black hoodie instead of the suit, and the whole situation is now infinitely more agitating since now we're missing an ass load of main characters, more than the other shows. Gao definitely should have been in this set, and one of joy ward or harold, lei-fung(?) hasn't done much yet, so I'll probably change my mind about him being replace with one of those characters, but suited danny is awful

I picked up half of this wave today (Star-Lord & Yondu and Gamora & Rocket). My thoughts:

-Star-Lord is well done, especially his jacket piece. The face is a lot better than the last one, but the likeness is still a little off. Also, the hair in the helmet doesn't look right (which isn't an issue unique to this figure, but it's present none the less).

-Yondu is great too, especially the likeness and mohawk. My only issue is that his coat is a very different colour than the rest of the minimate, and it doesn't seem to be intentional.

-Gamora is my favourite so far, with one of the best likenesses and no paint issues.

-Rocket's head sculpt is fantastic, and the short legs are better than expected, but he really needs the smaller chest block. It looks so much better. Was his gun cut?

The gun rocket is holding comes with tazerface and gamora is holding rockets gun, i guess whoever set that up at toyfair mixed somethings around, probably because of that scene in the trailer where gamora has that giant gun( but it's definitely not that gun)

All Doctor Strange minimates are 5.99 at TRU, at least at mine

I think kraglin would be cool, and shouldn't be much more than an alternate decal for the torso on yondu and face decal + zangiefs mohawk, also angrier faces for gamora, drax ( not technically in the specialty series but still) and nebula would be amazing

You should definitely include the alien star wars looking text on star lords shirt that he has in most of the promotional material, and dst didn't include for whatever reason, thats my biggest problem with the new star lord

It just dawned upon me that that Vulture is never going to fit in my display case

Curious as to whether or not vulture will have any knee articulation with that rig

Oh yeah rocket looks great now, groot is a simple paint fix, but I'm still not feeling yondu's mohawk

Star lord, gamora, taserface, mantis and gamora all last look ace. Yondu looks good too, but I'm not sure why his mohawk is so  short, rockets arms and legs look better than the control art, but now he looks a little pin headed, and groot should be a darker color, and I'm glad they ditched that massive chest pieces for drax

Hey YB, i was wondering if you still had pics of the decals for casual jules and vincent, i just got the set, but the photos aren't available anymore, it'd be much appreciated 

I honestly don't understand why they wouldn't have done the full on yellowshirt cage, they could've given him blue jeans, and a waist cap to hide the chain belt, if they were going to include an alternate torso and arms they should've went all the way

Luke cage really could use a second set, moreso than the other netflix show in my opinion. I'd like full on yellow hoodie power man, shades, diamondback, and either turk or bobby fish

Luke looks good, the hood really sells it, misty looks good too, really like cottonmouth, hoping he comes with an alternate vest look, hopefully bloody from the first couple episodes, and probably gonna track down a second so i can qc an alexander pierce. Not liking dillard though, the likeness isn't that good, i think diamondback or shades, or even turk would've been cooler

If you mean because they have different/more licenses, Funko has all the licenses thanks to Pops. Not all of those licenses are available to us, or even make sense for us.

 

I've seen them all those places except for Walmart and walgreens, they mostly pegwarm or get clearenced out, they're pretty garbage honestly

I can see the sculpt, i meant is the paint detail just one solid color with a little face like potted groot or nothing like the antman figs, or fully detailed out like gotg 1 rocket, I probably didn't word it too well
