I don't think Daredevil needs to be redone at all, since the Marvel Knights version is pretty much perfect.

That Daredevil is pretty good, but the fact that his eyes don't line up with the sculpted eyes on the mask always bugs me, even if I can't really see it.

My top choices would be Bullseye, Doc Ock, Rhino, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. Though honestly I think just about everything before Wave 19 would be legitimate.

The following lists are based entirely upon who I think would be good for the set in question. NOT who I'd actually like to see made. Truth told, I'd rather have a Jubilee than any of these 8 figures, buuuut, she's just not big enough for the set...

Heroes:

Iron Man (Modern Armor, Redone to be less clunky than the Civil War version)

Cyclops (Jim Lee 90s)

Thor (2007/2008 Relaunch Armor)

Daredevil (Black Costume)

Mandarin

Juggernaut (Powerhouse)

I think that's about the perfect mix of popular characters and useful updates or additions. I'd love to see some of the characters others have suggested (Darkhawk, Thunderstrike, etc) but I don't think there's much of a chance of them appearing in a boxset that would sell at TRU.

Probably not hugely relevant (... its BHM what's new?) but it's a terrific piece of artwork!

I guess Norman doesn't like the new costume Cyclops is wearing either.

Hopefully Iron Patriot means we'll also get a good Extremis Iron Man somewhere down the line. I know most wouldn't be excited about another Iron Man, but that's an essential armor that hasn't been done justice.

I'm a little surprised Marvel Boy made the cut, but I suppose he needs fewer new parts than Ares.

That Skrull is pretty disappointing, but I suppose that will save me some money. Wolverine's mask seems a little off, but it's probably the old mold. Maybe the shading? Everyone else is better than I could have hoped.

One probably no one else will be interested in.

Both Wave 27 and 28 have August '09 dates on them, so it looks like (hopefully) the Ultimates wave isn't going to cause the wait for Deadpool, Psylocke, Gambit, etc to be any longer.

That sounds pretty cool, though it's hard to imagine the safari jacket working well if it's just painted on to the body.

I tried the same thing. After having little success with the needle I just painted the entire area and wiped away the excess with a damp paper towel.

After the movie Iron Man minimate, I'd be awfully disappointed if an Iron Patriot (or Extremis Iron Man) didn't use a new sculpt. Sentry would also need a new hairpiece.

Maybe "Year of the Minimate" is supposed to be ironic?

I really like the Wolverine in his leather jacket, but is his belt on the chest block? That looks a little odd.

I'll pick these up if they make it out, but mostly because The Spirit should make a good custom Question.

Amazon just canceled my order for the New Capica box set, so if there was any doubt, I'd say these are pretty much dead.

Who are these kids that are buying Minimates? Does this actually happen?

I started picking up BSG because I thought the Cylons were some of the best 'mates DST has produced and now have practically all of them. I think the criticisms of the line are fair, but I can't say I have a problem with mulitple Sixes or having both Apollo and Starbuck in a flight suit. I'll be sorry to see these go, especially being so close to having everything I would have wanted.

This would be my dream set, but seeing as these characters have only been introduced in the last year or two this set would probably never come out.

Now, was Kirk ever billed as "Trouble With Tribbles" Kirk? I do believe he was described simply as "green shirt" Kirk.

I hope the Star Trek line continues, but it looks like it's time to move on to the newer Trek properties.

Yeah, it actually says "Trouble With Tribbles" Kirk on the package, so it wasn't crazy to hope for some tribbles. But, hey, another phaser is great too.

Too bad they changed Gul Dukat's face from the one in the promos, it seemed to fit the character better. The rest look pretty good, though I still don't care much for Decker and Ilia.

I wonder if that Spider-man will be a re-release of Classic Spider-Man? Otherwise it looks awfully similar.

After the latest events in the comics, I'd say it's about time for a new Green Goblin and a Norman Osborn.

I would love to get a Hulkbuster, but can't really get excited about more Hulk unless he's 2.5" or bulked up somehow. A short Hulk just doesn't work.
