I also like how the Jean Dewolf Saga is not a newer story. It's cool to see the classic comic book art as a more detailed Mini figure.

One way to get more "Movie-like" characters without needing to pay for movie rights could be to make figures from the more realistic "Ultimate" series.

I'd say they seemingly base the movie characters off of that series anyway.

Just look at Ultimate Falcon next to Movie Falcon.

Bone Breaker's tank was an all metal tank I found on ebay for less than $10.

Drill a hole about the size of the waist peg and use a floating peg stand to feed through, attaching it to his torso.

I was unfamiliar with this story line but just looked it up. Bad Ass!

I may be the only person on this planet that feels this way but I have a visceral reaction to Skottie Young's work. I cannot stand it in any capacity and will actually skip issues that he guest pencils. But back on thread...

I'd buy an Inferno themed wave.

I could imagine two box sets, featuring heroes and villains. Maybe throw in a TRU two pack so we don't leave anyone out.

Kingpin was another VERY necessary height adjustment.

I used Nimrod's stacked waist and a long waist peg also from The Expendables box set.

Now your Kingpin can actually tower over DD!

Good choice with X-cutioner's song... would blend well with some other popular minimates releases.

Sometimes the size and ratio of bulkier characters are a little off to my tastes.

Case in point: Onslaught's squatty legs.

Hardly intimidating.

My solution:

1: Add a longer pegged waist piece (a few of the Expendables came with this style for some reason.)

2: Add an extra waist shim to the waist peg.

3: Toss a few shims into the boots so the legs don's sink so far in them. ( Not sure why but these boots seem to swallow the length of the legs.)

Personally like the final result much better. This simple mod adds almost a 1/4 inch to the figure.

One of my favorite Minimates waves is the Jean DeWolf Saga. It's one of the most, if not THE most "themed" wave yet to be released in the Minimates Universe.

That being said, what other story lines would you most look forward to seeing as a themed Minimates wave?

To start, I'd love to see a Second Coming story line.

The costumes are still modern and blend well with other recent sets such as AvX. It features many major characters and gives an excuse to release some fun and unique figures as well.
