Tell me, does anyone know any tricks to getting into a random stranger's will?
Seduce & marry them.

I actually got mine MIB for almost half what that other one sold for, a couple months ago. I wasn't planning on buying him, but knew it was a good deal so I had to pounce. He was one of the first 1/6 scale figures I ever wanted. Alongside Naked Snake (who I'm probably gonna sell soon).
By the way, did I mention that you should stay the hell away from these figures, Devil? Because you should.
If you ever fall out of love with Hicks, I'll be his rebound owner!
You did warn me a couple pages back. I didn't listen and now I'm hooked. I've found a couple deals and have yet to get any in hand yet. It's only going to get worse once I receive Shaun & Ed!

Superb as usual, Luke.
Doesn't being such an awesome customizer with pages of praise get old eventually?

Can you put a Sideshow head on a Hot Toys body?
(sorry for all the questions- I'm a 1:6 noob!)
-
I'd love to get my hands on that Vader!
Aayla Secura and Plo Koon (discovered him back in the day in the terrible Jedi Power Battles game) look pretty interesting too.
The Stormtrooper is pretty nice looking too. Are loose joints on the Sideshow toys known issues on certain lines or just random across the board?

Any Sideshow Star Wars owners? What are your thoughts on those figures? Vader's probably a must-have...
-
Not seeing the pic, MM.

DCUC: Martian Manhunter and Raven are the only two in there I'd want.
JLU singles: "Barry Allen as the Flash"- How is that any different from the same tired old JLU Flash we've seen in just about every wave???

To get this thread back on minimates a bit (LOL YEA RIGHT!)
DST/AA/AFX/TRU/LTS/GOD! can we please have some IM2 minimate exclusives for this Click Me..But You May Need Some Tissues!
NO THANKS! I don't wan't them square & blocky. I like them just the way they are- round & curvy!
The Ironettes were easily the best part of the movie! Thanks, MF UK!

I don't even have my first 1:6 figures in my hand yet & I am already hooked. I find myself scanning eBay for close to an hour at a time for bargains on them. Everytime I look, I see more and more that I didn't know existed and that I would LOVE to have. This is gonna get ugly!
I had a couple of questions for the veterans:
1. A lot of the Sideshow/Hot Toys sellers are in Hong Kong. Ever buy from them?
2. There are a lot of parts auctions. Is it worth the time to try and assemble your own? (I almost won the zombie parts for Thriller MJ & would've just needed a body)
-
I second that, Ivan. I'm sure that it's a lot of work, but I couldn't live without it!
-
...and if anyone needs to sell their DX Joker to buy that T-800, PM me!
-
Nice deal there, for sure as a 1/6 scale starter set. Beware though, they can be as addictive as Minimates.
I know. I got a $50 Sideshow gift card with the Origins: Wolverine Blu-Ray set that was 50% off at Best Buy last week, so I've been shopping already. I think the Zombie Priest will be joining the Zombie Babysitter vs. Shaun and Ed!
I really want a DX Joker (and Iron Man and now Cpl. Hicks- thanks a lot!), but figured this lot was a good entry-level plunge...

Two things:
1. Damn, K80! Those are awesome. I had no idea there was a Hicks figure. (that's my last name so that's always been my favorite character from Aliens)
2. I've joined the 1/6 scale club. I stumbled upon this on eBay and won it-
The Shaun figure doesn't have a box and one of his records, so I was wondering if anybody knew of a good site with parts/pieces for sale. I thought it was a pretty good deal- around $50 for 4 figures shipped. Any info from the experts on the Frankenstein?
-
I was interested in a regular or BD Mark III, but it looks like the Mark IV can be purchased for about $50 cheaper. Decisions, decisions!
-
I'm speechless. Almost.
Pretty interesting wave. I find it humorous that in the last two TRU waves, my favorite two are in the TRU-exclusive sets. Hopefully Lockjaw and Hulkbuster Iron Man are as easy to find as Stretch Attack Reed and Mohawk Storm!

Kilowog is awesome...
...if you can find the parts to build him!
So out of the blue, I stumble across Katma Tui and John Stewart tonight. Anybody have the other four pieces needed to build Kilowog?
Guess not. If I can't find the other pieces, I'm planning on returning the two figures I have. Anybody need those two?
-
that's odd. you'd think they want to strike while the... ahem... Iron is hot.
You're spending too much time reading BHM's posts. It's starting to rub off on you!
-
I saw it last night and would give it about 3.5/5 stars.
Cool visuals, but overall it felt kinda long with a pretty boring middle segment.

Glad to see some F4 love. I will be pre-ordering that set, Luke!

Borders has a printable coupon on their web site right now for 40% off any one item:
http://www.bordersmedia.com/coup/04291040i.html
It expires May 1st... I really hope my borders gets these by then...
It says it's "Valid with Borders Rewards membership only." Does that cost to join?

That sucks, BHM. I was hoping to take the spare off your hands. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is...
Give the creep some negative feedback!

Did Vader change drastically throughout the original trilogy? Have they announced an ESB, ROTJ or Ep III version officially?
