Man, I dont even remember Alexandria. Its a bit of a blur for me between leaving the prison, Woodbury and now Negans storyline. Time to dig out my comics again. I do like wave 6 more than 5 at this point.

As the official mascot and charter member of Guys Who Have Been Bellyaching About Whether TRU Will Continue Carrying Minimates, I have to say, I think this is settled law. Zach has said multiple times, in multiple threads and in no uncertain terms that there will be Minimates at TRU this year. He's confirmed a wave 19, as well as shared ASM2 and GOTG waves (19 may be one of those?).

He also confirmed a Thor 2 TRU wave, so there is that. And as I said before, TRU has shown their willingness to change their minds. But I think I'm probably confusing Toy Fair with SDCC showing off the TRU stuff, so sorry for raising the alarm.

Toys R Us waves don't need to be shown because they are already a done deal with TRU. Same reason we didn't see the Spider-Man or X-Force boxed sets, because they are locked up exclusives with other retailers. I also believe Zach has confirmed ASM2 wave and GotG wave for TRU in other threads.

What I dont get is how they took years to rerelease Hulkbuster Iron Man for the DVD due to being a TRU exclusive, but we immediately get a rerelease of the TRU exclusive NOW! Captain America.

They are different enough I don't mind. I wish I had known the color set was coming again with the exact same figures plus the extra Susanne, because in light of this that post-SDCC color pack was a ripoff.Its only been a few months, they couldn't have waited? This is such an unusual move on DST's part. They couldnt have made the figures at least a little bit different?

They didnt allow Aliens pics? I thought that was the other licenses they didnt show. I was hoping to see their vehicles.

Since the first half of 2014 is all Marvel Movies, I'd anticipate the rest of the year being comic based. Wish we at least saw the Xmen comic wave. Guess we should start counting down to SDCC now.

The monkey is in the box set with all these 4 characters so technically yes, you do buy Jay and Bob again but you get 2.5 new characters.

Alexi is one per case? Really hope that's a misprint, as it would make this figure even more difficult to obtain. Even though I'm not interested in this mate, it could set a bad precedent going forward. Will most certainly be picking up the Spider-Man and Peter Parker mates, and might have to buy doubles to get a non-battle damaged firefighter Spidey.

I doubt it. Luke and the other etailers get custom cases that are evenly packed. I wouldnt worry.

Alexi is my favorite. Gwen looks great. I like the texture on Spideys eyes. Im buying these.

I'm buying every single one. I'm an old school Kenner fan, so for me this would be like Minimates triumphant return after a 20 year hiatus. I do hope they improve a few of these sculpts, but most I like just fine. The Alien figure even smells like vintage Kenner plastic. The nostalgia is very strong for me.

Some of the likenesses are better than the vintage Star Wars. I'd guess they couldnt get BTTF likeness rights since they are the only generic cardbacks. I'm loving these. The Goonies are really well done. So far the worst ones are Angel, Oz, and George McFly. I'm buying all of these. If they were more than $10, I'd skip a bunch. But the price is just right.Love that Trick or Treat Sam.
