Whoa, that is cool. PotA is one of my all-time favorite franchises, including the Marky Mark version! Let me know how many people you see on the street screaming"Get your paws off me you damn, dirty ape"!
-
Impressive, even minus the wang!

Crap. Think I will cancel that Hulk pre-order.

"Rubber skinned HT figures... ticking timebombs." Care to elaborate Shane? I steered clear of Hot Toys stuff, but the Avengers line sucked me in. Been enjoying them so far, but I'm on the fence about cancelling my Hulk pre-order as the thought of spending that much money on something that won't last more then a year troubles me.

I couldn't resist any longer and bought the Medicom Hush Batman. Looks much better in box then in hand sadly. Buck is very slim, costume isn't cut quite right - pulls out of boots and gloves when posing. The cape is really well done, so not a total loss for $135.

The game is a lot of fun. I had stopped playing Tomb Raider games a while back, still remember playing the original on my PlayStation. yes, the one that didn't have a number in the name and was a big, dull grey rectangle!
This new game has some pretty cool environments, a neat "survival instinct" feature, great graphics and good gameplay. I don't find the story too engrossing, but that may just be me.

The game is pretty darn good - although it can be a bit hard at times, like when there are 6-8 enemies attacking you and you run out of arrows. One of the neatest parts is "hunting" food, which gives you experience points you can use to upgrade your skills.

I've been playing Aliens: CM since the weekend - early copy - and sadly, the reviewers are correct. Poor graphics, VERY clunky gameplay and a confusing story. I haven't been this disappointed in a game in a looooooong time.

Shogi - I used many, many random bits and lots of LED lighting.
Donny B - thanks, I appreciate you appreciating it!

The Aliens playset is perfect Minimates scale, I made a Diorama using many of its parts:
First two levels are the floors of the Aliens playset.
Here's what a minimates Power Loader may look like: -
Top-notch work! Love the Joes, any plans for more?

Back on page 14 I posted picks of the Classic Cylon test Shot I have. I'm currently looking for a new home for him. PM me if interested.

DST is having a "secret" Battle Beasts party at SDCC, wonder if there will be a special variant for attendees of that?
-
Sorry man, Pee Hulk will forever remain in my collection. I also have the prototype head for the unmasked Dr. Doom variant. Not terribly impressive without the body

The couple that owns Raving Toy Maniac (toymania.com) has the set of red & blue translucent Spideys, about 3 years ago they posted a big article on their site about them. It may still be there.
-
Maybe it's the red and blue transparent Spidey's?

The darker colored Bullseye also has the "crosshair" scar on the face tampo under the mask that Bullseye had in the comic around the time the DD movie came out. Marvel made DST remove the scar from the final release as they didn't have the "movie rights" at the time, even though as mentioned before he had it in the comics.

See, I'm unclear as to why it's "not cool" and all the complaining that goes on around this boards. 1-None of the labels were taken from Luke and used "as is", they were modified into my own originals, much like the labels on his site are changed from original minimates. 2-Luke most likely makes money off of the labels on his site, as I'm sure people buy minimates from him because they're making customs using those labels. 3-If you don't want people to make their own customs for sale, don't offer tools hints and tips on how to make customs on a site where you sell your own customs. As a loooooong time member of this board I'm prepared for the crapstorm this rant will unleash, but thems the facts.

I love this era of the SS too, I tried to go with the "this is what they wore at the announcement of the Utopia program/unmasking event". I wasn't going to do Tom Thumb at all, but I had an extra Terrax that was just screaming to be TT's beard, so I ended up with the whole team.

Suggestions and critiques are always welcome, that's why I posted! I have a 3" mate in the fodder bin, but it looked "too big" next to the others when I was contemplating the Redeemers. If I do Redstone I think I'll use the "duck feet" and bulked up chest piece to make him look bigger/taller then Hyperion. I so wanted puffy sleeves for LL but I didn't have any in the fodder bin. But since I eventually broke down and bought stuff to finish off the squad I may have to track some down and fix her up before putting the team on eBay.
I'll take you up on the trade offer for the shield, what are you in need of?
-
I did make TT shorter by cutting down his waist, legs, arm and feet - but the damn hairpiece makes him look all tall again! Ahh, the Redeemers - next on the list. Will the madness never end?

Yeah, I made it from foamcore, cardboard and styrene.
