Wegmann's hot foods section is an AMAZING lunch spot. Now back to your regularly scheduled minimates musings...

Dang pappymojo, that motorcycle was one of my favorite toys as a kid. That and the fisher price space shuttle from the same line. Yes, I am old.

I too am looking for the Galactus Max as mine broke when the shelf he was on collapsed. The only one I can even find for sale right now is on Amazon and the seller is asking for $700. I contatcted him/her to see if I could negotiate a lower price but they wouldn't budge. I'm now trying to find a buyer for my spare kidney so I can get it....

I have a 20% of TRU coupon I won't be using, anyone interested shoot me a PM

Was your overall impression that this one was harder then the previous Lego franchise games?
-
I've played and enjoyed all the Lego games, but I'm not a fan of the "talking" during the cut scenes. I miss the gestures and random noises that the earlier Lego games had. Been playing this one since Sunday (!), only 98.3% left to go.

It was, if I remember correctly, billed as "a new beginning with no convoluted back-story", or words to that effect. It did deliver on the fresh start promise, but all the massive continuity changes put it on par with the here-and-there mess that is the 616. My two cents, gonna spend the rest on a candy bar.

The Ultimate universe is a complete mess now. I've kept up with it (wasted time), and it's unrecognizable from what it was meant to be. Iron Man has had 3 or 4 different "origins", the X-Men corner is, at least to me, more confusing then the 616 mid 90's X-Men. And this is all coming from someone that enjoyed Ultimatum....

Are any of the armors in the SDCC Hall of Armors set noticeably different from their non-SDCC released versions?

Yes indeed!

Impressive work, your love for classic Star Trek must be pretty strong for you to pour so much into this

If you can hang something on the wall get an acrylic display case for 1/64 cars (matchbox, Hotwheels) and turn it sideways - perfect for minimates.

One of my favorite parts of Clerks!

I'm more interested in the color figures that are "on the way". Plus doing it all in B&W seemed pretty
boring to me.
-
Thanks, I'll give that a try

I loathe taking pictures, and don't really know much about doing it - would it look better if I took the pictures outside?
-
Made it for the MiniMates specifically

As Glantern mention, the paint/piece stick issue was pretty bad for me too, ended up splitting Thanos' helmet when trying to pull it up since it covered his eyes.
