Wave sounds cool, can't wait to get a Ronan. As far as Rocket Raccoon there was no way to win.. if they made him small people would complain about scale. Would love to get a classic GOTG comic wave at some point, Starhawk would make an especially nice mate I think.

Starting to think these have't made it NY at all yet. After fruitless trips to TRU in Queens I checked TRU Times Square.. nothin. Not many Minimates at all actually, just a few Series 16 Colossus/WQ and Wolverine movie figures. Did find a whole set of 54 today so at least I don't need the Cap/Falcon set. Still looking forward to finding the rest of these though!

Got my shipment from Luke today, and I have to say I'm surprised at how much I love this wave - specifically Strucker and Cap. I knew I would love WS and Falcon, and of course I knew I needed to army build the Elite Hydra (soooo glad I did!), but I didn't think too much about 'Fighting Chance Captain America' until I had him in hand. I should know better by now, but I actually thought he was a bit of a dud based on the photos. Having him in hand, though, has cemented him as one of my favorites so far this (fairly young) year. Bravo, DST, on another outstanding wave.

Found the whole set at Midtown Comics today, still a bunch left but only one Viper. Only opened Cap/Skull so far and I too am really impressed with Fighting Chance Cap. Felt the same way, wasn't looking forward to it that much but having it in-hand it is a very well-done figure. Everything bout it's great, the colors really pop and the suit is well-suited to be a mate. Love having the Cosmic Cube, Skull looks cool, especially with the mask on. Have him holding a blaster from another figure, Stilt-Man I think. Look forward to opening the rest!

I'm in Queens.. nothin. Checked 3 different ones too over the last month. Will probably check the TRU in Times Square tomorrow, let you guys know if I see anything.

The TRU sale did end up to be a good thing - finally found a full set of wave 16 (only had wolvie/reaper) and bought a duplicate robot hulk. Usually I don't do that but it's such a great figure that can be displayed two different ways. Never found wave 18 yet though, have looked many, many times in a few different TRU's. Oh well will just have to keep looking!

Some very good ideas here.. amazing after so many years there are still so many great ones left to do. A lot of the Cap-related ones were knocked out this year but a lot left. I'd love to get any of these (in order):

I don't know for sure what it means but I sure don't like it. Tekken is one thing but series 17 and 18 on clearance already? Really? Getting minimates for 4 dollars isn't worth the sinking feeling I got when I visited TRU a few hours ago. Don't like seeing a line I care so much about clearanced out like Green Lantern movie figures!

In the TRU 18 thread Zach did say that minimates in TRU are not done, and there are possibly even still box sets on the table. We have not heard a word about 19 however and don't see anything TRU-related on the release schedule which goes until May. What is the next planned TRU release?

Maybe it is a case of the (new/current?) buyers at TRU being very selective? I know something along those lines has been mentioned in the past. Weren't they specifically requesting obscure characters at some point? I have read before that TRU saved minimatesand helped the line go on for years. Can the line survive without TRU? How is the health of the Marvel minimates line in general?

Dude maybe a reminder in the Marvel area where there is more traffic would help?

I'd definitely be down for that wave, Spider-Man 2099 is probably my most wanted re-do. Would love to find a way to work in Scarlet Spider and Cardiac as well.

I agree about Spider-Phoenix.. waste of time.

What's the black and white one in the center? That's pretty cool looking. More so if he wasn't crossing his legs so effeminately but still. I'd buy a Spidey-Lizard and a re-done Reilly as well.

Seeing these get a refreshed item number would have given me a little more hope Marvel waves were continuing at TRU. Now, not as sure...

The item number stuff doesn't worry me at all but other stuff regarding minimates and TRU do, passing on sets and waves. Enjoy picking them up at TRU and don't want that to end, that's how I found them in the first place. Zach, can you confirm that there will be a TRU wave 19?

Definitely look forward to picking these up, been waiting for that Winter Soldier and Falcon for a long time. They look great! Don't know anything about gold version of Ultron but he looks cool. Absorbing Man is cool but I still really like the old one we got.. Will still pick him up though!

LOL Really like the design but you do have a good point there.. Maybe he should re-think that!

The X-face Cyclops looks very cool too, those are the two that really jumped out at me. I do worry as well though that these will be outdated very quickly but could be some good mates.

Had no interest in this wave but wow.. Heimdall is a really awesome looking mate. Very well done. Those dark elf looking things are kinda cool too.

Based on the passing of the movie waves and the annual box set I'm concerned about minimates at TRU in general so I will ask pointedly: Aside from the mentioned possible GOTG movie will there definitely be another comic-based wave? Should we be concerned?

I'd be down for some X-Men, know they hinted at Iceman and Banshee if I remember correctly. Would love to see a 60s themed X-Men wave with Sunfire along with some less likely ones like

Modern Scarlet Spider has to be the most boring character design of all-time.

Really? I like the design and would like to see a mate of it. But I am also not as high as others on Bag-man though and would much prefer Spidey-Hulk. To each their own I guess!

We've gotten a ton of Venoms lately but a Thunderbolts version would be very cool. Also think we need more ghost riders in general, would really like an updated 90s Ketch or 70s Johnny Blaze.

Haven't run across the set yet but looks good, only issue I have is that I already have a version of everyone except Deadpool. Alternate looks are always a plus though, will probably pick it up if I see it.

I'd buy just about everything posted in last few posts. The ones I'd most want to see though are re-done Vulture and Hobgoblin along with classic Beetle and Boomerang. Also would love Puma, Prowler and Speed Demon. Also some ones I know would never be made like Will o the Wisp and Stegron. Man-Wolf? Surprised Jackal hasn't been made yet. More Spidey the better far as I'm concerned!

My TRU never got these or 17, still fully stocked with the brand-new case of wave 15 they got a month ago for some reason. Store used to be really good with getting new ones, really sucks.
