Picked up the Walgreens wave today in MA, these seem to be hitting the Northeast now (NY, CT, MA).    No interest in the box set so I grabbed all 4 sets.   Also nabbed Walgreens Wave 5 the other day at a different location so distribution for Walgreens seems decent lately at least up here.  We'll see what happens with Wave 6 and if there's a lot of wave 5 and Ragnarok leftovers clogging shelves preventing a push out.  

Anyone have a recommendation on a 2 sided axe for Skurge that I can steal from another minimate?  Not against seeking out a random set just for a decent axe.

Any site list pre-orders for this wave yet?

Just to break up the manga love and give it some much needed counter-perspective... no. No. 1000x NO.

Nothing in MA from Attleboro-Bellingham-Northborough-Framingham. Was even in southern NH last weekend, nothing in Salem either.

Nothing in NJ/greater NYC area from my Fwoosh friend either.

Looks like I'm getting an assist from a pal in TX... pretty much giving up hope at this point, certainly looks like they screwed the pooch with distributing to the Northeast and website with this wave.

I have still yet to see these hit in Mass

As BHM would say, it seems nobody has seen them hit "en masse." Le zing!

Trying to figure out if the Website has these or not. It's complicated.

Ive not seen them in NE but I believe I've seen reports of them in the NY/NJ area.

So almost 7 weeks since first sightings and still nothing out of the NJ distribution center (meaning nothing for greater-NY area or New England) and still nothing on the website. Are we seeing the signs of another Swordsman wave here? Don't even want to look at ebay, but I'm starting to get tempted.

They decide to skip a wave or something? This unusual website delay wouldn't be so much of an issue if they hadn't skipped sending the new wave to the NY metro/tri-state area and all of New England... So far anyway

Anyone want to make a little money and help out a forsaken north easterner with a set? Buy 'em on clearance, I'll pay you retail price plus shipping?

No sir. Nor southern NH. Closest report I've seen is Philly area... even my NJ buddy on the Fwoosh who usually finds waves early hasnt seen em yet.

Found wave 17 in Massachusetts this AM, bought 3/4, left Venom/Nova.

Not meant to be trollish. We've all got wants and want nots. We've all got sets we wanted to see made, and sets we didn't ever want, right?

Simple concept for this little game here... throw out a team or group, a set or sets you would not want to ever see made, in exchange for making sets you would want to see made.

For example, a few years ago I would have said.

"I'd accept House of M minimates being made IF I get to eventually see Alpha Flight minimates made as well."

Got it?

For me... I'd accept 90's X-Factor 'mates (loved the original X-Factor but HATED that new team, costumes, artwork... GUIDO IS THE STUPIDEST CHARACTER EVER!)

....if I could receive some proper West Coast Avengers minimates. (Mockingbird, Tigra, Wonder Man in this WCA #1 costume, Hawkeye with long sleeves, Dr Pym, White Vision, Wasp, etc)

I should rephrase; I don't think Zach's done anything but express his own personal excitement over the lineup of this wave. We've kind of taken the phrase "incredible amount of fan service" and run with it, in some very implausible directions.

There are obscure or barely popular entities I'd love to see made too... but sometimes you just have to swallow them and realize they ain't gonna happen.

As for "unrealistic," it's Minimates. I don't think anything owned by Marvel truly falls in the "unrealistic" category.

No offense, but I feel like half the stuff you've been throwing out qualifies as unrealistic.

Yeah 'mates should be updated by need (redoing old styled releases) and never scarcity... Unless you can release a similar but still different version I.e. Deadpool. They nailed Gambit, he's perfect. And I'm hard pressed to think of a viable alt look for him.

Black Knight is very high on my list of wants, but I'd hope he would come with extra parts for a 90's version:

This is how he appeared in every book I read as a kid so my Avengers team wouldn't seem right without him.

If they do make Dane without those parts, it ought to be an easy enough kit bash if you get an extra Avengers coat Cap.

Modern Cable would TOTALLY count as a new look that isn't technically a NOW look, and for a character who has repeatedly headlined his own books, we've only so far seen a pair of Nate 'mates(Maybe Dr. Nemesis in place of Forge, with parts for both "classic" and X-Force looks)

I've never even heard of Reverend Stryker, Bastion, Purifier or Dr Nemesis. If this were their idea for a wave that 'crosses names off want lists' I might as well just give up on this line now.

Thoughts on the paint?

Kmart in the fishing section. It's a Plano tackle organizer and it was like $4. Paint looks good. Firestar needed the upgrade.

Bushmaster is the snake guy from battle beasts, plus older release Blades head sans hair and glasses and yellow hands with holes drilled in to fit the blades I cut off of the Worthy\Mighty spidey.

Someone pm'd me about sprite... All karma plus first class angels mask with a modified hair piece from a bsg mate which I cut the poofy pony tail off of, painted and glued on. Don't remember whos head that is.

Hey sha_ckwave-- where did Storm's vest come from?

Extra dazzler coat sans the arms obviously, then I hit it with some black spray paint. I think i might try and stretch it out a little more so it completely covers her chest better and hides the zipper from the painted on vest.

Awesome. Can't wait for details.

If this has anything to do with 90's x-factor, I'm not crossing anything off a list, in fact, I'll be making a new enemies list and including Zach on it.
