i have a lot more in the works so there should be another update in the next couple weeks.

The one exception to this rule as far as I can tell is MGM, it seems that DST negotiated contract for a back catalog license for MGM movies, hence the Silcence of the lambs, platoon and the fist full of $$$ movies all being made as minimates.

My one hope there is that the James Bond movies are all MGM.... Will we see a minimate James bond one day?

wow, thanks for the kind words guys, like fujis said, after seeing the amazing job everyone did, i just had to give it my all, and make something amazing. you all have been so inspiring and even though i dont post much i still look at every new custom you guys come out with. This project with out a doubt is going to be very sucsseful. exellent work all around to everyone, you will defiantly have my bid.

dureing the NY toy fair we saw that there was a minimate poster for the silence of the lambs. has there been any plans for makeing them into minimates or was it just a poster? -thanks

how do you guys feel about a van helsing type of charater. with all theses monster running around dont you think a monster hunter would be cool. also anyone have any info on the "grendel" i could find much on google but it seems like a cool monster.

In keeping with the theme I think a monster hunter who also happens to be a monster would be cool. So, you're not making the chupacabra then? What the heck is a chupacabra anyway?!

a chupacabra is a spanish foke taill of a small jackel like creature with big eyes and spikes on it's back that sucks the blood of goats, aka " goat sucker". and if it's ok, than i'll do our monster hunter, instead.

i just found this post now. are they still doing this or was it just for the month of april.

i was there and i couldnt find the minimate panel thing. all i could fine was a show case of the upcomeing minimates but it wasnt anything we havent seen before.

i would say around 23 ( if you count lockheed) plus a few failed attempts that i have eather distroyed for parts or are laying in a bin of broken parts.

as for lockheed he was really easy. he is just a lego dragan peice that i took from a harry potter set. all i did was add feet, a tail and some purple paint.

As I recall the initial PALz bodies looked almost identical to Minimates until someone from AA contacted them. Palisades ended up changing them.

If DST wanted to solicit X-Files Minimates, I'd be all for it. Of course I'd need a second job...

i would be all for that as well! what are the chances of DST contrating x-files. there are rumors of another movie being in the works.
