IMHO Brit would be analogous because Pinoy is a more informal way that Filipinos usually refer to themselves .....pinoy (masc.) pinay (fem.)

*Pinoy was used for self-identification by the first wave of Filipinos goiing to the United States prior to WW2 & from what i've read the name can be used as a term of endearment or disparaging .......*
