  1. Thanks, preordered. $12 more than cost is not that bad.

Believe it or not, it isn't even that much. I believe my Metron and Attahwhateverthehell were about $28 shipped and last month Jay cost me about $26 shipped. So the mark up is basically their cost + shipping + shipping to you  I need to see where my package is at the moment after I leave the forum. It will most likely show up on a day that I'm not around the house the way my lucks been going lately.

  2. Are you member of the BD forum Trekker? I keep seeing someone over there with a similar handle and wondered if that was you. I'm not a Lego fan, but I could see DC going that route with the license they've been given. Still, I got into Mates for Mates and not the C3 blocks. So I'd love to see the line make a comeback. Honestly, I'm just hoping they run with the license and don't limit it to bobble heads, t-shirts and other niche products. I'm not sure if I posted here or not, but I'd love to see the Bat-Phone. Given what I paid for the bust, I think it would be a nice center piece.

  3. That's the route I'd go if I were you. If I were selling the one I'm getting it would be pretty close to that, plus the shipping. So it might work out better for you. I'm looking forward to Metron. I just wish they had gone with the light up chair like the folks over at AFI were trying to talk them into.

Is Poison Ivy ever coming out? :/

    EVER COMING OUT?!

Cheese and Rice, man, It’s only MONTH TWO of the DCUC figures, she was never going to be among the first 3 (Starman is next, Atrocitus and Jay were the first two) she’s coming in “fall” so Sept, Oct, or Nov one would assume.

patience is a virtue my friend.

 Have you just met Dino DB?

  4. I'll agree with The Eagles that everyone needs to take it easy, but I think MC has a point too. If this isn't your thing, that's fine. Just don't browbeat folks that wouldn't mind seeing this or the return of DC Mates. Given the amount of threads, there's plenty to keep your interest elsewhere

  5. The line ended all too soon Dino. I can't speak for anyone elses shops, but the DC Mates sold really well in my area. DCD didn't give it enough time for it to build up sales. I actually got into Minimates because of the DC/C3 line. I wasn't a fan of the blocks, just the DC characters that came with them. Once I started buying these and other figures for members on the old AA forum I got sucked into Marvel, LOTR and various other lines that came after. I definitely think Mister PL has a great idea on a limited run, like The Munster and the Classic Monster Mates with this show. Hell, they could do con or online exclusives and still make money because of the low production run. In all honesty, I'd much rather pay for a Mate of some of my favorite DC characters than double or triple for an actual action figure.

  6. Yeah, that's very cool, but I don't want Minimates based on that show.

I swear, every time I think you can't say something more stupid you prove me wrong  The reason you have no interest is because you probably don't have the attachment that some of us have with the show. I'd love to see these Mated, even if it was a limited exclusive set. I'm also curious about the series though. It was a fun show and I'd love to have a official licensed dvd or bd set. Especially if they did commentaries with some of the surviving actors. Otherwise I'm going to have to buy the sets from places like Second Variety DVD and I don't know if they are still in business?

  7. Took a break from Mass Effect last night and played a little Reach multiplayer. Downloaded some of the new maps and had a blast playing. Seems most of the load mouths have abandoned it for either MW or ME3? I honestly don't know, but after a while I took off my headset and just enjoyed running around like a idiot. Some teams did pretty good and some did ok. Still, it was fun. Might do it again tonight once I download the maps on my downstairs console.

  8. Give her another 6 months and she'll be ready for them Jeff. I think these were some of the first toys I bought my little guy and he'll be 3 in July. We didn't pick up the Batcave and I'm really kicking myself for not picking up the Green Lantern stuff when I found it cheap. Now of course he's into GL or as I hear it, Team Winner. My wife says he's saying GL, but I don't hear it

  9. Good one YB  I definitely get frustrated when you need computer advice a mac person say the same thing, "Buy a Mac" :verymad: While I'd love to, it isn't in the cards right now. Hope you don't mind me piggy backing on your thread groundhog7s, but I've got a question. Seems everytime I get on my computer it makes a funny(mwamwa)noise like something is clicking on? Now I do have my wireless printer set up on it and it seems the only thing that would be making that noise to me. Any thoughts?

  10. Yeah, I have no real complaints outside of trying to find these at retail lately. I'm a opener, so I like seeing what I'm buying. I kind of enjoy the tips to Jack Kirby's work in the DCU and it makes perfect sense that some of them resemble his work since he created those characters ;)As far as GL, I kind of wish the GL line had done better at retail so that GL's were in that particular line and not DCUC. That's just me though. Need to eventually track down Kyle, but don't really care about many of the others. It has been ages since I did a month to month comic wise and really behind on that stuff.
