now that ive broken it down I realize that all I have to do is avoid the Michonne/Governor 2 pack and I wont waste any money on repeat characters.

cloaked out Michonne is being released twice, once with The Governor at LCS and again in the TRU wave with a zombie.

I'm buying it, I still need all four characters and the boxsets have been pretty stellar lately.

yes. I think pairing with Tekken, sharing with Capcom and Darkstalkers and odd character choices have kept SF mates down.

I think Sailor Moon minimates make perfect sense. its exactly the kind of property that lends itself to stylized cutesy type figures. I think if you threw up 4 packs in the dreaded "pink" aisle and marketed them to girls, collecters and fans would brave the embarassment it would take to obtain them (not to mention every female who gets a look at my minimates collection loses her mind about how adorable they are)

then subsequent sets could feature costume variations and the many crazy japanimation monsters that appeared throughout the series. It's been a while since of seen any episodes but I seem to remember some recurring characters and additional Scouts that could keep things interesting (for a fan of course) for a while. Throw in some colorful blast effects, even better. Are you down?

the only reason I havent bought this yet is because it pisses me off that I'm going to wind up with 4 Michonnes, none of which are that much different from each other aside from the cloak, after series 4.

I LOVE Dead or Alive as a fighting game. I think its ten time more intricate and interesting than any other fighting game out there. The problem with having minimates made is that the characters themselves are quite generic and the most interesting part about them are their movesets, and their.... tits. neither of which would translate into minimates at all.

gimme gimme gimme! especially big mouth zombie and bullet holes zombie. Fall is soooooo far away! I know we still have series 3 to get through but these blow them out of the water IMO.

it has hit in full force in my area but ive been distracted by some Walking Dead mm, Tekken vs SF mm and transactions in the Flea Market. I'll pick it up eventually.......Blade's afro is worth the price alone.

i absolutely had to change Mystiques hair, at least until an updated version comes out, and i found 1st class Jean to be the best donor. replaced White Phoenix with Heather Hudsons and put Phoenixes on 1st class Jean. everybody looks better IMO.

Pterodactyl genetalia is such a non issue for me I never questioned where it was, but ill be throwing some Hulk pants on the TRU wave Wolvie/Reaper for differentiation's sake.

Ill be getting an entire set of these from Luke soon, then extras of Shanna/Reaper, Nick Fury and Maria Hill when I see them in my local shops. 4 Heavy Agents, Maria Hill, QC Sharon Carter, both Nick Fury and Steve Rogers displayed, 2 Reapers, Shanna and the body to whip up another scantily clad female minimate. I think about how happy thats going to make me and I think......yeah.... I can wait.

I am incredibly interested in customizing with decals but I dont have a real computer (post from my phone) or a printer or any of the nessecary supplies and was wondering if there was anyone willing to send me sheets of decals they printed out? for money or a trade of course.

oh cool. i was unaware of the child sized mates, i thought they couldnt get any tinier or adorable but i was wrong.

got the two sets in a trade and cant wait for them to arrive. I havent read any of the source material but the designs are totally awesome and I love the ladies. The only one I dont care about at all is Anne Bonnie.

I hope Mystique is more of a badass in this one, she was the worst part of First Class IMO. I dont know if it was the actresses fault, the disturbing naked 8 year old version of her, or that lame scene where she half-hazardly names all of the X Men I hated the most, but all of those contributed to my lack of enjoyment.

Surprised to see noone has mentioned MORLOCKS! The sewer dwelling mutants I first became familiar with in the X Men cartoon. Calisto, Leech, a couple others....throw them in a boxset with a rerelease of 90's Storm and those American Gladiator staffs from their battle in the cartoon with the pads on the end and im totally down.

I did this painting after an experience that was not exactly family friendly. What I took away from it was that we as human beings are all basically the same thing (like minimates) and how we choose to decorate ourselves and who we surround ourselves with is what makes us individuals. Seems like a fairly simple concept but my love of minimates made it a little more profound. Mostly though, its a colorful blank minimate!

the two sets with two zombies in them seem to be the most shelf warming, my TRU has about 5 sets of the sailor zombies and noone else, so maybe thats the reason for the lack of walkers in this wave. Im hoping for Penny and Carl in the TRU wave, though im not sure how they would convey their child size being minimates.

is everyone so caught up on the loincloth thatthey dont realize how cool it is that were getting an f-ing pteradactyl minimate???? i would have never dreamed of that back in 2003. DST impresses me on a weekly basis.

looking very much foreward to Emma and Colossus. I didnt read the story but the designs are very cool, and Emma looks like a suitable head donor to the series 9 White Queen, who shows her age.
