I hadn't noticed! My god, many of those are incredible! The Cloak & Dagger mates especially.

Target seems to be constantly restocking the 2-packs now. Is it just my Target, or does it seem that the Ghost Rider/Daredevil 2-pack is the short pack of the bunch? Everytime I've been, they've only had one on the peg (and I get it every time).

Just curious - why are you buying multiples of this set?

Hulkling is part Skrull. So Hank Pym was technically replaced by a Skrull, but a Skrull shape-shifter, not a clone.

I have that Nightcrawler and both of his legs snapped off. Gah.

I got that set this week myself. This is the only version of Iceman I have and wasn't even aware there was a difference till now. Thanks for the pic.

i've been contemplating this for a while and have come to my decision, of course i'll buy 14 (yay i can get a storm and ANOTHER wolverine) but prolly not 15, it's kinda ewwww. i mean i was excited bout blackheart and mephisto but then their not in their TRUE form, their in a human form. It ain't cool to yank my chain like that!

Not only that, but Blackheart and Mephisto are based on a couple actors' likeness, not comic accurate at all. Snore... A true Blackheart and Mephisto set woud definitely be worth getting excited about.

Variants are only available through each wave, which hit the specialty shops, as you guessed. You can try searching some of the online retailers, as they sometimes run for cheaper, depending on the wave and the figure. Closest Target or TRU ever got to variants is the Blue Suit Professor and the rereleased Giant-Sized X-Men at Target and the Ultimate Green Goblin at TRU.

I'll pick up whatever X3 and Ghost Rider minimates Target gets, but I will definitely be pre-ordering the Avengers set online.

I agree that X3 and Ghost Rider are rather "unremarkable" assortments, but once I see them on the pegs the plastic crack fiend in me will take over and I'll end up with all of them. I know no restraint. Especially with minimates.

The Targets in my area (Memphis, TN) have the Darktide set on clearance for $3.74 now.

Just thought I'd throw that little bit of info out there in case anyone hadn't picked it up yet.

I picked an extra set up when I saw them for that cheap the other day. Now I have 3 Darktide dvds. What will I do with the extras?

I have those minimates, but I don't have that DVD. Would you be willing to let one go? I've never even seen it.

Speaking of Target - do they ever get variant packs? Or are variants strictly specialty shop items? I've never come across variants at Target, and paying $20 at my local shop is something I'd REALLY like to not have to do...

If there is any truth to any of this, Heaven help us:

We learn that Tony stark was never in the iron man suit!! From the beginning Steve Rogers was Iron MAN and Stark was just the public image/persona. Rogers was never frozen after WW2, It turns out that was his clone, part of the super soldier program (I guess they had cloning tech back in the 40's).

I'm guessing Stark and the Real Steve rogers will reveal this to the cloned Rogers at the end of CW.

Whoever OKed this stupid retconn should be fired. The art was pretty good though, Zircher does classic superheroes right.

After Thor... hmmm.... I'd probably just want more and different Thors. LOL

But so far as new character selections go, I'd have to go with Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, Namor, Captain Marvel, The Ultimates (all of them), Hobgoblin, Kraven, Iron Spidey, and more and more Avengers.
