This rarity question comes up ever so often. Rarity and value/demand are two different things. You're talking apples and oranges.
I guess I'm more interested in rarity. i.e. I have Red Skull in Hydra Uniform, which was a one per case of 12, although he sells for far less in the after market compared to X-Factor Angel.
I find it very interesting that there's more Angel/Warpath out there than LCS variants.

What are the rarest/most valuable marvel minimates? Besides Gold/silver spidey?
I know X-Force Angel and Warpath are up there, and maybe Hulkbuster Iron Man.
I'm interested to know if there's a list out there of some kind. Help? Thoughts? Advice?

Gamer tony for the win. My new favorite over gauntlet tony for sure.
But maybe "Google Glass" Tony fits betterOh yes.. How close to the movie release will we see the "extended boxset"?
Here's hoping it's not like the Superbowl "Extended Look"....

Alright revised wishlist based on the fact that they need to be rereleases of previously done costumes.
Cyclops (Blue/yellow) / Professor X (updated regular wheelchair)
Carnage / Doc Ock (with new sculpted tentacles similar to the Mr. Fantastic "Stretch" pieces, that can hold onto a minimate body, and bottom two tentacles can hold him off the ground?)
Luke Cage (Power Man, bulked up) / Classic Nick Fury (With Shield uniform and interchangeable trench coat look)
Storm (Updated Giant Size X-Men costume) / Black Panther (with claw hands and vibranium daggers)
Honorable mention:
would really like an Ant Man (Classic look) with Wasp (black and yellow costume), and the Antman could come with a "mini" wasp similar to Galactus' silver surfer and Tinkerbell. But seeing as though we just got an Ant Man in Wave 44, decided to cut those from the list.
wanted to keep Sue Storm but she kinda didn't fit with the others so swapped in Storm for her.
Tried to pick the most popular characters but having a balance between Avengers/spidey/x-men/etc.

Since all the "Best of" 'mates have been re-releases/updates of already-done costumes, I'm not sure of the likelihood of having new costumes. But just for fun, here's my Best of 3 wish list. In keeping with the spirit of the wave, I tried to pick some characters that already have some of the best minimates made, instead of choosing ones we need to "update" just for the sake of it. For example, the current Black Panther, the champions Black Widow, and avengers #1 Wasp are some of my favorites in their current form. Which in that case means they should be in the Best of Wave! Of course, might have snuck in two that need updates (hint hint), but when they first came out they were quite awesome at the time.
Cyclops (Blue/yellow) / Marvel Girl (green/yellow mask)
Classic Sue Storm (Blue/Black) / Black Widow (Gray Jumpsuit)
Wasp (Yellow/black) / Classic Nick Fury (With Shield uniform and interchangeable trench coat look)
Luke Cage (Power Man, bulked up) / Black Panther (All black with claw hands and vibranium daggers)
Honorable mentions
Storm (Updated Giant Size X-Men costume)
Professor X (updated regular wheelchair with "X" rims)
Doc Ock (with new sculpted tentacles similar to the Mr. Fantastic "Stretch" pieces, that can hold onto a minimate body, and bottom two tentacles can hold him off the ground?)
feel free to add.

Nice to meet you too!
As for the "why", I was raised on Silver Age Marvel. Now, don't get me wrong, I really dig the "Byrne era" costumes from series 48... but something about the classic blue duds always speaks to me.
To round out the team in a classic way, I use:
- Johnny (TRU 15)
- Ben (TRU 15) (swapping his legs and crotch cover for the ones that came with series 37 Thing so he'll have the blue/black underoos)
- Sue (2005 convention exclusive) (but with the arms from TRU 6 "Stretch Attack Mr. Fantastic". That way, no bulky black gloves!)
Sure, the blue doesn't completely match between Reed, Sue and Ben's underoos... but it's close enough for me. Now, hopefully, we'll get an updated "classic" Sue within the next year (crosses fingers for "Best of" series 3). But until then, this works great for me!
I'd like to add Cyclops in his Classic Blue and Gold with an Optic Blast visor to that Best of 3 wish list

Summer-ish.
And as far as an all-female through the ages set goes, I think we like doing TTAs because they're all-star slam-dunks. Four Captain Americas! Four Wolverines! Four Hulks! So if we do another one, it will be somebody who's a sure-fire seller.
Not that Storm and Captain Marvel aren't great, but we'd be much more likely to pack them with someone else, rather than count on one of them to sell an entire box set. An all-female box set -- of the same character -- is not going to have the mainstream/youth appeal of, say, Iron Man.
Not hatin', just 'splainin'.
Spidey TTA for more obscure variants?
• 616 Peter Parker (Interchangeable parts)
• Amazing Bag Man
• Spider-Hulk
• Man Spider

Didn''t mean to offend Hellpop I'm sorry, but I'm glad you liked it. Overall, would you guys be interested in another installment?
LOL man, I'm the same age as you, so I feel you on the old fogies around here. (kidding)
Good job representing the young generation.

I just bought the 2010 Uncanny X-Men box set on Amazon, and Battle Ravaged Wolverine's right hip joint broke out of the package. Knowing it's an old set and an exclusive, I took a chance anyway, and emailed Amy. Unfortunately she couldn't find the replacement.
She did tell me to mention to you all to please attach a photo which makes her part hunting easier. Here's the one I sent her.
PS if any of you have the part, let me know
That's all folks.

Dude, your movie is bomb, I'm a professional filmmaker and that was top quality. Well shot and edited. I can't wait to complete my marvel collection man, I've got a long way to go before getting the gold and silver spideys though. But you're right, it's a journey. And that last part, where you're like "what are you doing?" but so happy at the same time, that's every day for me, man...

Whoa nice, rebooting Ultimate Wolvie all the way from Wave 3.
Although, like Heroic Slacker pointed out, I might've liked this one better:
A black arm and leg shouldn't be too hard to come by, its just the torso, but even that can be reminded by getting wave 43 Spidey or Best of Venom or a Venom through the ages.
One of the few Wolverine variants I want.
This shot with the crotch computers:

easy there bub.... what set are you referring to

Pet Avengers!!

This unofficial armor guide (link includes potential major SPOILERS) shows a bunch of different rumored armors for the movie (according to screenrant)
Some honorable mentions include:
Stealth, Aquatic, Asgardian Destroyer, Brute(Hulkbuster), RESCUE (Pepper Potts), Heartbreaker, Deep Space, Godkiller
-
We are definitely making more armors. Not sure if we'll have the specific armors you guys want, but we'll have some.
And the box set is very extended. It's long, I mean.
....long like horizontal? like this?
Hmmm....
-
Also the rest of Fear Itself.
The Worthy: Attuma, Titania, Absorbing Man
The Mighty: Iron Fist, Dr. Strange, Red She Hulk, Ms. Marvel, Wolverine, Black Widow
-
No I consider him 80s Torch along with the rest of Wave 48 and TRU 15, classic Human Torch would be Wave 8.
This is how I display my FF teams
Classic: Wave 8 Human Torch, Best of 2 Mr. Fantastic, Wave 8 Invisible Woman/Susan Richards, Best of 1 Thing works but also pick which Thing you want, we haven't gotten a proper booty shorts classic Thing IMO.
80s: Wave 48 Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, TRU 15 Thing and Human Torch, custom Johnny Storm, custom She-Hulk
Marvel Knights 4: TRU 8 Human Torch, Sue Storm, Mr. Fantastic, Wave 37 or Best of 1 Thing.
Now a question, we don't have a Fantasticar and most likely won't get one so are any of the previously made Fantasticars compatible with Minimates?
One came out in the ToyBiz line in 95, part of one came with Mr. Fantastic in Marvel Legends Series 5, one was made for the first Fantastic Four film toyline, and one came with the Rise of the Silver Surfer toyline.
Nice, I hope one day we get amazing bag man.

PLLLLLLLEEEASSSEEE GIVE US AN ARMOR HALL. PLLLLLEEEEASE..
How would you feel about a collector's case...
...that looked like The Cellar, Tony's underground stash of armors?
I would feel quite nicely about that. Yes. Yes indeed.
HECK YES.
Either a collector case or make it into a standing display.
MUST HAVE those armors in minimate form!! My first thought after seeing the trailer is minimates.. second thought, can't wait for the movie!
Haha same! I was more excited about the possibility of seeing the minimate versions of the armors than to see them in the movie.
-
I must have a boxset. Far too many possibilities. There has been speak of an extended boxset in this topic..but how extended are we talking?
Maybe if we beg hard enough...
