Here's an update on the Phoenix Emma Frost minimate.

For the people who weren't happy that she was attached to the cape it seems like the cape will be removable form the hands, however it does not seem likely that the cape will be removable from the flames. However there may be a possibility of an additional cape as an accessory for those collectors who aren't a fan of having a flaming cape 24/7

Here's an alt. version of Amara (Magma) from the New Mutants.

I'm sure many people have put something like this together, but here's my version since there was never a minimate of Amara powered down.

this was my favorite comic for years, and the first X-Men comic to really start introducing visually unique characters. a girl with red diamond skin, a guy with flames coming out of the lower half of his face and chest, a girl who rips her skin off, a guy who has 6 feet of extra skin! i think they set the trend for the younger characters of today.

Definitely would like to see some of the teams listed, would LOVE to see a Masters of Evil box set, yes mostly because of my obsession with Karla Sofen, but it would be awesome to see DST create a boxset dedicated to them. It would also be cool to see a WCA Box Set as well. I mentioned it in the Tigra thread but, her (Tigra), Mockingbird are definitely needed and it would be nice to see an updated Wonderman!

Other than those two groups the only other box set id love to see would be a New X-Men Academy X boxset with characters such as

Yeah there was a tray, everything was there, I honestly didn't even know about the flaming 4 until I was looking through here and saw other peoples minimate with it... Definitely a let down because I really liked the set as a whole.

A WCA box would be fantastic. SC Iron Man is the only one who's really been done definitively... a WCA box should have:1) Hawkeye, long sleeves2) Tigra3) Mockingbird (with alt legs and alt ponytail hair to capture both early looks)4) Wonder Man - bulked up classic tank top look

I hope they put this much effort into Mockingbird when she gets made!!!!!!

Would definitely love to see a Hellfire a club Box Set. As much as I love Emma Frost her older wave figure isn't the best, it's actually quite horrible (compared to her FC, AvX & new F5 mates). That being said would love a new Emma Frost Hellfire Club minimate, Shaw would definitely have to come with a removable top he always had his top off in the 80s. I wouldn't mind seeing Wyngarde and Pierce as well, would also be nice to see Tessa!

Mockingbird is definitely the first character to come to my mind.

Sure she's not a "fan-favourite" but she's been around for quite sometime, and I think now would be a great time to think about creating a minimate for her especially with her getting some quality face time in Marvel Now's Secret Avengers. That being said, I'd want to see her in her WCA costume, not her modern one

Definitely agree with what a lot of people are saying and I think Enchantress has be an important villain to the Marvel Universe. Most people know who she is and she's been around for many years. Other than her I'd definitely throw in the Brotherhood of Mutants having Toad, Pyro, Blob and Avalanche in the set.

I'm happy to see that we're getting P5 Emma Frost & Colossus. It'll be nice to have the three of them rather than just have Cyclops. Hope to see Magik and Namor out and about soon as well. I'm not too happy to get another Scarlet Witch so soon... I mean we just got a new one of her, I would have rather seen a modern version of Rogue instead...

Now that I see Emma and Colossus are indeed being made...

I said this in the original boxed set thread and I say it again, if it's not too late (and I assume it is) please, please, PLEASE let them include a non-firey cape for emma. I just hate it when characters are locked into one permanently "powered up" look, through lack of non-powered up parts (IE. Shadowcat & Vision, for instance)

I don't really like the idea of an Emma minimate that is never not on fire and floating. :/

I think the cape can be adjusted. At least if you zoom in I think you can take off the fire at the bottom - as for the cape and her floating if you look closely I think you might be able to move around the cape it looks like it can be taken off so I don't see why it couldn't be adjusted so you could lift it up so she's not floating. But that's just from speculating the picture, here's to hoping!

Also, i hope we eventually see Phoenix Namor and Phoenix Magik... if i don't get all 5 i'm not sure i'll want any of them.

Yeah I hope we see P5 Namor & Magik in the near future as well. It would kind of be just a waste to see only 3 out of the 5.

Psyguy, I am in love with all your customs! They are absolutely amazing, and its refreshing seeing someone so talented ESPECIALLY with the hair sculpting, you're doing an amazing job and keep up the awesome work!

I'd have to say my favourite ones so far are the Dark X-Men, The Hellions (cannot believe someone made them! Glad you did!) and of course your Mockingbird one is my favourite out of all of them! Would love to see you make more characters Definitely going to be following this thread
