Yeah, I think all have a good shot to get made at some point. I had to look up Aleta, because I'm not a classic GotG fan, but we all love those designs. Crystal is classic Marvel, and she's been on three teams. Siryn I hope will get made right after Banshee.

And kids may not read modern comics, but modern comics are where the movies and cartoons (like Ultimate Spidey) are getting most of their ideas from nowadays.

It is sad but Crystal is one of the most connected characters in the Marvel U and the most ignored. She is an Avenger, Fantastic Four, and Inhumans. She married into both the X-Men and into the Cosmic Realm. She's an easy custom but still would love a major release regardless of the costume. Aleta's light based powers would make for great accessories but again no one remembers her. You should get the trade of GOTG for Jim Valentino's run. I remember loving that book. Why not just make a Banshee two pack with both Teresa and Sean. It could even be a theme! Captain Marvel (Carol and Genius), Banshee (Theresa and Sean), Wasp (Hank Pym and Janet), Hawkeye (Kate and Clint),

a carol and genis set would be incredible!

and, if we're talking captain marvel/gotg/quasar/ignored characters, a phyla-vell and moondragon set would be a dream come true for me

The guy has no picture of it up other than the stock photo released by Hasbro which seems a bit dubious to me.

To be honest, Hasbro has absolutely frigging butchered my love for this line. I am really glad to see a lot of B, C & even D list characters coming out.... but something about the newer figures feels... cheaper than the old ToyBiz figs.

To be honest, the waiting time between waves, the even longer wait for running changes, the switch to little BAFs that should probably be be Pack-in's with a single figure, the price increases, the spotty distribution....

i don't know - maybe some of those issues were there when ToyBiz ran the show as well... but i think i was excited enough by what came out to over look price rises and 'the hunt'. Maybe minimates has spoiled me with regular releases and a deeper character selection?

I've bought maybe 3 or 4 of the X characters from the last few waves of Hasbro ML... and i've opened 1. The rest are sitting in boxes in a cupboard. I'm wondering if it might be time to give away this habit. . . :/

Here's an update on the Phoenix Emma Frost minimate.

For the people who weren't happy that she was attached to the cape it seems like the cape will be removable form the hands, however it does not seem likely that the cape will be removable from the flames. However there may be a possibility of an additional cape as an accessory for those collectors who aren't a fan of having a flaming cape 24/7

I'll attempt to be serious about Female Minimates ,so no mass debating ...........

Two of my all time Top 20 Minimates would include Valkyrie & Wonder Woman & it is amazing how well both stand up to scrutiny some 6 years after each was produced . I love minimates & I love sex..... I'm probably unusual in not requiring the internet for the latter . Sexiness is perhaps lacking in many female minimates,this is probably healthy for the target audience which sadly isn't most of us here .

The average male will 'check out' a female in the manner males do .....I shan't elaborate too much because Dino's monitor has just been cleaned.......& unfortunately too many female Minimates appear to have big arses & fat legs when they're wearing a formal skirt or dress . I give you Mary Jane who looks like this in the comics......

That is an extreme example but the hip-heaviness that is inherent in the Minimate design just doesn't help at times.

So what shall I say about female breasts on Minimates ? There are some beauties but they are almost universally painted & to my mind the ones that succeed the best are where the design of the costume accentuates the breasts. Most superheroines' costumes accentuate the breasts but this is a 'no go' with many civilians & that's perhaps why they often don't appeal . That is perhaps the most simplistic & sexist thing I have ever written but I believe it to be true.

Really not trying to validate an argument on the 'sexiness' of 2-inch blocks of plastic from a person who claims to be having actual sex...not the fake internet kind...but if we were to get these top heavy, big breasted female 'mates with no hips and skinny legs (I keep laughing at that mental image), then it's only fair that we get some male 'mates with bulging, molded cod pieces and bubble butts too :-P

I dig the faux hawk on Carol actually. the awesome thing about minimates is that she will probably come with both hair pieces, a flight stand and energy effects. so much bang for your buck.

I'd also hope they would include an alternate masked head

That was my recourse, since my two closest TRUs (Middletown NY and Scranton PA) haven't seen a glimpse of w15 (though Middletown had BB for a *very* brief window). But it's nice to know there are areas where these are abundant

I seriously started out with only a mild interest in the iron patriot mate. Now I know that I'm gonna end up buying every single one of these...funny how that happens.

So I've really enjoyed All New X-Men and Uncanny X-Men so far, would love to get a modern Kitty Pryde and Rachel Summers, and a boxset of Cyclops, Magik, Magneto and Emma Frost.

In fact with Dazzler and the Stepford Cuckoos joining the Uncanny X-men, we have the perfect opportunity for an amazing wave

Emma and Scott, Magik and Magneto, Current Dazzler and Stepford Cuckoo, and 70s Disco Dazzler and Stepford Cuckoo but then again we'd never get 6 Female Figures in one wave.

I thought the funky punk mohawk thing was kind of cool. Definitely set her apart from the typical mid-back-length, wavy/flowing hair every single other heroine in the MU has.

I really like Ms./Captain Marvel's new costume, just wish she had a better haircut, she and Songbird both got jipped by their artists.

That's my favourite feature on Ms. Danvers ...but at least if/when we get a captain marvel minimate you'll finally be able to give her the tresses you think she deserves

Hey guys! I just got an email from AFX saying that the third set is now in stock and that my pre-order should be shipping out soon! Can't wait to get these guys! Not as psyched about the next set, but at least we will finally get Mumm-ra the Ever-living and Ma-mutt. REALLY hoping they make good on a set with Bengali, Lynx-o and Pumyra! Still really curious on who the fourth figure will be and also who the mini character will be. I'm thinking maybe Ratar-o for the fourth and Snarfer for the mini...There are other possibilities though... Really excited for these!
