DANG IT. I totally glossed over that. Hmm in that case I'd say it was Captain Marvel (either Genis or Carol) and Luke since then we would have almost all of the Avengers Forever lineup (excluding Hawkeye as Golith and Jan in her black and yellow costume).

Spider friend - firestar or black cat

Ironman - madame masque

Avengers - wasp or black panther

But seriously no xmen?

I am all for a new Firestar! But would love for the Avengers pairing to be Black Knight & Crystal, or Tigra & Falcon. No X-Men pairing? I for one would love a Storm in the Jim Lee X-Uniform and a Banshee in the same uniform. Then I could buy multiple sets and finally get a good version of the team.

Hey they still haven't announced the SDCC NYCC exclusives so maybe there? 90's X-Factor for SDCC (Strong Guy, Polaris, Havoc, Wolfsbane) then NYCC (Monet, Theresa, Darwin, Shatterstar) with a later TRU two pack of Layla & 90's Multiple Man? This is tougher than I thought...

If this has anything to do with 90's x-factor, I'm not crossing anything off a list, in fact, I'll be making a new enemies list and including Zach on it.

I liked sha_ckwave's idea of modifying Quicksilver since the body can still blend in with modern 'mates but I couldn't stand the hair or face, so I swapped with Asteroid M Magneto:

I am all for a Power Pack set! The only thing that was missing for me was the New Warriors. A nice litte 4 pack of Night Thrasher, Marvel Boy, Namorita, Speedball then a second with Kid Nova, Firestar, Rage, Silhoute/Turbo.

These look great sha_ckwave! I am jealous of the bin. Where did you get it? My current project is Firestar but I am still stuck on finding a skin tone paint for the chest.

I also revised my Namorita with parts from a Tinkerbell.

I boughtthe Peter Pan set specifically for turning TinkerBell into a Namorita and Michael into Franklin but does anyone have any tips for Franklin? Anyone experimented turning Peter Pan's Michael into a Franklin Richards custom yet?

ANyone ever use the Star Saphire head for anything? I have one and was thinking of using it for a modified Firestar but that crown/tiara thing is making me annoyed and was wondering if anyone has taken it off before?

Why can't my TRU have ridiculously cheap BSG or Calico Jack inventory

The manager hates you. It's true. He told me. But seriously, it is really annoying when thta happens. I missed all of BSG and then went home to Florida and it worked out to my benefit because their TRU had everything on sale. Now I just need to get more eye glasses wearing Ginas.

I actually havent bought AoU yet. Im mostly reading the Young Avengers Titles and the Uncanny Avengers. Although honestly I'd love to see just more Marvel NOW! characters instead of a AoU-centric wave. If they do make some AoU Minimates I'd prefer Boxed Sets over Waves.

An updated Ultron sound AWESOME though.

Am I the only one that thinks the overhead lamps that dentist use look like Ultron's head? Anyway, the series hasn't made me excited at all. The first two issues have seriously and literally put me to sleep. Off of the negative train, I do love the Marvel Now costumes and would love to see more of them. This being the 50th anniversary of A & X I would think that this entire year would be dedicated to them with a few other characters sprinkled in.

These finally arrived at my TRU. They had two sets, so of course I picked one up. When I opened it, the Scarlet Witch looked off. Upon closer inspection, it was the old Scarlet Witch. Looking even closer, I realized that somebody also took her hex hands. Now I'm really angry. So I drive all the way back to exchange it for the other one I saw, hoping that everything was legit. Luckily I had no problems exchanging. And fortunately everything was correct in the other set.

These only came out this week, so I asked the employee if they recall anybody exchanging minimates. Not surprisingly they didn't know. Normally I would let this slide and trust karma to take care of things, but this is not the first time this happened to me. I picked up the Thing/Human Torch pack a while back and somebody took the belt off of Thing and exchanged the exclusive Torch head for the Invaders version. Unfortunately I had to bite the bullet on that one because they only had one. So yeah, I still have an incomplete set there.

GROSS. I had a similar experience on ebay where the person said it was one figure but then it had pieces from another but the box was "unopened". People can suck sometimes.

i live in NY and i haven't seen any of wave 15 at either of my local TRUs.

I live in NYC and go to the 7th level of hell known as the flagship TRU in Times Square. They got NOTHING. They barely have minimates at all to be honest. I have had to result to trolling ebay to get a few of the past releases.

Not sure if everyone saw this post on Luke's Toy Store thread, so reposting here:

I talked to my Diamond rep yesterday, and there was a mistake at the DST factory, and less of this series was produced than what was ordered. My order was reduced by 30%, and other stores ordering custom cases were similarly reduced. Originally I thought they had just split my order, but I will actually be short by a ton of custom cases. I have ordered a lot of regular cases to make up for this, and Diamond is nearly sold out of those. I can see this wave being hard to find down the road.

Lovely. That would explain why my LCS still hasn't received their order.

Mine refunded me because they said buenas suerte. I hate going to Luke's because I end up going BROKE! Best online store in town for mates I say.
