Not just Silver Samurai. With Hogun and Fandral still not getting produced for Thor 2, yeah, I expect some characters just won't make it. That sentinel looks cool though. Really looking forward to whatever DST does with it.

Yeah. Alpha Flight was done very well, 2 box sets and a part of a random assortment wave. Same goes for Outback, 1 wave with an extra showing in a TRU wave. So it would be nice to get one wave devoted to completing teams.

Phoenix Magik and Namor, FC Beast and Danger (to complete the Utopia X-men), and some others I can't think of, lol.

There is something to that though. I am not excited about Emma and Piotr because to be frank I like the costumes of Magik and Namor more. I would love an X-Men wave to finish off teams: Namor/Magik (with Namor having accessories to put him in his X-Men costume); Sunfire & Banshee, FC Beast/X-Factor Angel Varient & Danger. That finishes off three teams there with P5, Extinition, and Giant Sized line ups complete. Banshee and Sunfire's completion actually gives a complete line up from Uncanny 94 - Uncanny 138. Add Kitty (Sprite) and Lorna in her crazy purple costume and we make it up to 171when Rogue joined and Carol left.

I would rather paint over my First Class Angel than waste time trying to get that damned thing.

I just use Archangel. Warren started wearing that costume in the late teens of X-Factor until the end of the Fall of the Mutants when they all were wearing their "new duds" with the colors just swapped out.

First off, Where is this wave at? Show yourself! I expect them to pop up any day now, and I'm sure they're at least on the boat to the US by now, right?

Second, it's kinda interesting the lack of interest that the Phoenix 5 members are getting. Yes, a lot of members want them, but it seems almost equal between the want / don't want crowds. I guess that's why the DST Q&A today mentioned not the expect the last 2 to get made anytime soon. Which is a bit sad. I hate unfinished teams, but there's a ton of stuff I still want first. But the hard part is that the further we get away from their storyline's release, the less likely we'll ever see them done. I'd certainly take them over another Wolvie variant.

It just sucks to be a single 2-pack away from completing a team or theme, and we have a bunch of those near-completes already.

There are so many teams in that position too which drives me nuts. Only a few have been completed.

Its the First Class comic one, since we got a 4 pack a while back. Its like X-Factor or FA Angel, needs one single minimate to finish the look.

At least with X-Factor we can use Archangel with the team but still that red x costume haunts me.

Hey now! Those were actually great sets!

Thor was only disappointing with the Beta Ray Bill triple re-use (TRU, LCBS & here). Loki was incredible, Sif was a very welcome addition, and Thor was to be expected when the set is called Thor, but still a good figure.

Alpha Flight, while a team I have no interest in whatsoever, is still well made, complete, and all new figures, no rereleases! It was really sad these didn't do better, because the principal behind them was one I'd love to see carried forward (Wrecking Crew!). Now it looks like we're not going to get any real team-builder 4-packs that don't have A-listers in them

As for the Iron Man 3 AFX SDCC set, I figured it was better to get one in person than to pay shipping later. It's still a very unexciting set but it wasn't really made for us anyway. But an inclusion of "Dummy" the robot would have gone a loooong way to making this set better and would have fit in perfectly, and I'd have paid an extra $5 to have him in there.

I think there is a bit of confusion. I personally loved the Alpha Flight sets and have 3 of each version and I am contemplating a 4th which is what made me think what a second I have never had an SDCC exclusive be so available to me before . Also, if Diamond got burned on these niche sets that would make them gun shy and explain the DP, Thunderbolts, and Wolvie Sets. Again, I love them but then again I am a grown man obsessed with getting a Crystal minimate.

I just feel like space is for the Fantastic Four, the Silver Surfer and the Guardians of the Galaxy, I never could figure out what mutants would have a need to go to space for.

What?!? But then you are missing out on the start of the Phoenix saga, The Dark Phoenix Saga, and more. I never liked extended space runs but I did enjoy certain missions like Professor X is a Skrull.

I'm way more into these now than I was, maybe it's just because I really liked The Wolverine, but these photos look really good. I have quite a package headed this way when Luke gets his SDCC sets in stock.

I can think of many candidates for 'worst selling sets of all time' which have eventually become 'most sought after of all time' .

It was just a question because even though I loved the three sets, this is the first time I have seen an SDCC set not move. I know that there are several sets that picked up after time but a year later these three sets are discounted to the point that they are more than half off.

It was the Carol Danvers version. They flirted and eventually went out on a date, which went badly. Though later is Siege Ms. Marvel "told" (she got taken over by the symbiote who told it to Pete to distract him but later she confessed that she did) him that she still likes him.

There is an entire list out there somewhere. Not trying to slut shame the character but nobody calls my Jeanie a Harlot. I think that the whole Maddy situation looks worse on Scott than anyone else. I mean he did leave his wife and newborn for his dead ex-girlfriend who could have destroyed the universe so maybe it wasn't as bad as we all make it out to be. Claremont hated Scott because of it though.

That is my biggest issue with Giant Man and why I don't display him ever. He's too small. I really wish that now that time has passed they could revise the Max Mates statues and do him, the Sentinals, and Galactus again. I didn't get the statues then because when they were released I was in school and didn't have the cash. Now, I just refuse to spend 500 bucks on them for a scalper.

Want none. Will buy is another story. My collect them all mentality will get me to buy the whole set but I will probably only buy and open Reaper (Just to fix him) and maybe another Pheonix 5 set just in case they also make Namor/Magik later I can display them together. To be honest this is the biggest whomp whomp set of th year behind the Starnge Tales Box Set for me.

I was thinking the same thing but he looks a little off. That's why I think another version inbetween this piece and the current figures that exist.

Thor isn't a bulked up character. With that logic we'd have to bulk up cap, wolvie and most superheroes since pretty much all of them have huge muscles. Maybe if the 3" mates were still around it could be done. Watcher and Onslaught type characters would use the 3" body, Hulk style characters would use the 2.5" body, spidey type characters would use the plain 2" body and thor,cap, wolvie type characters could use the 2" body and some add on pieces. Tough, as it is now, a bulked up thor would look strange.

I don't agree (obviously) because even though Cap etc are strong they aren't Thor strong. The issue I think is with the two inch scale. Seeing Thor have the same size arms as Wasp is off putting to me. Perhaps he doesn't have to be as bulky as Hulk but maybe an inbetween.
