I've never felt more like a DC Comics fan than when scrolling through this thread.

I wish DC Minimates were still around so we could have a thread like this for them, but the brilliant minds over at DC Direct made sure that didn't happen.

And that's a nice look for that Hawkeye too! Reminds me of an old Don Heck drawn issue of "Tales of Suspense" or more likely "The Avengers" where he'd be pining over Black Widow.

For a while I was using the Tinkerbell chest and torso but the green threw me off and was annoying me. Ideally the Marrina swimsuit works perfectly but I am too untalented to paint over the green.

Tentatively, but I think it still needs to be approved. Designs are, I believe, done, but one or two may change. I think people will be happy, unless there are sweeping changes.

Just picked this up from work as well. I love it to death, honestly.

Mystique is perfect, tne Sentinel is perfect, and Wolverines Coat is still pretty sexy lol.

Due to this boxset, I am now setting up a new X-men group in my display (One character from each alt reality or timeline so I have an excuse to use the AoA, AoX, so on) so I have a use for Zombie Magneto, DoFP Logan, ANXM Raze/Kate Pryde, AoX Cyclops, AoA Rogue, and so on.

Great idea, but I like to keep my zombis away from the other mates. I don't want a Zombie outbreak.

What's with all the hate for Matty Toy Collector? I haven't used it but to me the fact it exists and is pumping out figures of characters that fans actually want is increduble. What's the beef?

I have been thinking about this for a while but, if Diamond created a line like Matty Toy Collector where they put out an exclusive two pack once a month (available online only) of figures that had a lot of fan love but may not have enough support for a wide release, who would you pick for the first year of releases?

A Dark Phoenix set (or two or three) would be amazing! It would be the perfect way to get an updated Dark Phoenix, Jean as Marvel Girl (in the green dress), Cyclops, Storm, finally a Lilandra, etc. Make it happen DST!!

This! And all of this. I would loose my sh!t over the Phoenix Saga box set you've just described. Follow it up with a Dark Phoenix Saga full of villains (FA White Queen, Sebastian Shaw, Hellfire Mastermind & Dark Phoenix) and we've got ourselves a damn fine pair of sets.

I'm thinking about buying multiples of the DoFP Box set as well to make up extra M-camp mutants. I even went so far as to buy an extra Rachel Summer hairpiece to do a QC with...

If only there was a guy uniform as well... then we could have Franklin, Mags, and Piotr.

As for the blue and yellow costumes, I have a thought on that... a Forge/Storm two-pack might work, with extra parts to make Forge generic. Release it at toys r us alongside a new pack with Now Rogue/Sunfire and a classic green Banshee/Thunderbird (with alt Liefeld Warpath parts) 2-pack. Put these out around the same time as a 90s X-Factor specialty wave and a new Best Of Wave with Gambit/Jubilee and Psylocke/Fantomex 2-packs.

You buy multiple Forge/Storm packs AND multiple packs of Banshee/Thunderbird (to make blue and yellow Banshee and Liefeld Warpath), Polaris/Strong Guy (to make Muir Guido and Lorna), Gambit/Jubilee and Psylocke/Fantomex to head swap with the blue and yellow bodies (maybe Fantomex can come with some Dr. Nemesis parts?) and now you've sold five of the Forge/Storm packs to any one hardcore X fan. Finish things off with a Muir box set of Dr. Moira MacTaggart, Legion, Proteus, and Wolverine, whose spare parts can be mashed up with a sixth Forge.

and, hell, round out that best of wave with Byrne Cyclops/Green Skirt Marvel Girl

Then you just need to add an X-Force wave:

Sorry but to me the biggest wants are Crystal, Vance Astrovik (Marvel Boy era), Night Thrasher, Speedball, and a freaking set of a male and female Jim Lee X-Men uniforms.

Well, I was excited when I heard the original Guardians were coming back, but I'm substantially less interested after seeing Abbnet as writer. Guess that's good for fans of his work, but that's not me.

I just want a Vance Astor so I can make a Marvel Boy #newwarriorsforever.

By the way I wish we could get Ororo, Psylocke, Rogue and Rachel's new outfits. They really rock!

I'm just happy to get stuff. Some companies I have been noticing are putting a stop to con exclusives. This years batch is not the greatest but not the worst either. I just wish we had more to buy then only these sets. The ton of stuff that was offered last got me spoiled I think?

See, although the images are great and I will buy the set, it is hard not to feel disappointed that "my" favorites aren't being considered or used for this set (Inferno, Inhumans, Traditional GOTG). Also, it took me a second to look at Kitty and realize that was the cover image costume since I usually associate her with her Sprite outfit or the Green M jumpsuit in this story.

I hope you get your sets some day. Traditional GOTG are currently off-limits, Inferno is getting more obscure by the day, and the Inhumans are a tough sell as a box set. But Ask DST!

This Kitty changes into her green outfit, if that helps. But that jacket is pretty distinctive on the cover.

First off I think the set looks great, I just meant that for *me* I view SDCC as the time where more niche sets could be pumped out and this set seems like a LCS/TRU set. Anyway it does help that Kitty/Kate changes and yes, she is on the cover of the story but I haven't read the story in years.

Interseting that the Original GOTG are off-limits. I will defend Inferno unti I am blue in the face and don't get me started on a Crystal minimate. It may get to the point that I will have to start petitions for petitions .
