I also often use the Avery clear label sheet. They make one that's basically just one big sticker. The thing I like about clear is that you don't have to try to colour match. Often I can get away with a clear label and painting the bits of the back with white before applying.

Yup. I think as an adult I would agree if it wasn’t a children’s property. The movie had a completely different story tone which is great— except that wasn’t communicated to the audience. If I was a parent I’d be taken aback if I was taking my kid to see a cartoon movie of a show that suddenly went very dark without warning. 

Does anyone have a sticker paper they recommend?

Her costume was different as it didn’t have a Tunic or the shoulder pad things. There’s also the case of her hair getting burnt off. 
 

I agree with you on the deep cuts. It will be really hard to get to my New Mutants Holy Grail: 

I did a kit bash Rusty in his Red shirt and khakis and one of Skids but sadly those two characters were victims of the Liefeld of it all. Sadly, these boxsets, even if sold at LCS need anchor figures and Cable *is* the X-Force anchor. So if I *have* to have one then I’d prefer the Mastermind/Professor X trick and have it be Cable as Stryfe. Exodus has come back into relevancy so I think that would also help. Sunspot also is a current star of the X-Avengers Realm. I do love the idea of just adding in the pieces to make both a Liefeld and a Cap Warpath. I was hoping we’d get a larger Minimate for him similar to Strong Guy but at this stage of the game, beggars and what not.

Stryfe would perhaps be the more desired choice, but Stryfe would be more at home in a Liefeld-based assortment.

I just feel like they need a “name” to sell the Boxset and a fake Cable (Cable as Stryfe) would work to get the set sold in.

Well, we still would need Liefeld Sunspot, Skids, Rusty, and Wolfsbane not to mention Boomer’s other costumes. One could argue we need a Cap and a Liefeld set!

I’ve heard the same thing. As much as I want Rom figures I’d be concerned we’d never get them.

Yeah I am only keeping the red shirt off the chance someone hasn’t army built Picards 😂.Geordi’s visor could be intimidating for a new fan while older fans would just find a Cyclops visor. I’d hope a “team” set with variants like the Series 2 Power Rangers would be a slam dunk and lead to a DS9 team pack, Voyager team pick, etc with an Alien army builder pack through out.  As a non OG Trek fan it’s annoying to see them get so much love while TNG is ignored. Especially after finding all my playmate toys!

Anyway, I'm just trying to do my part to keep minimates and in this case particularly GI Joe minimates going. I'm a huge Joe fan so this just means a lot to me. I got three new people to buy sets just this last week, 2 co-workers and cousin. None had even heard about these and once I showed them they were interested...of course every one of them asked if there were Cobra Troops to back up the Commander yet. I told them buy a set and maybe soon. 

Welcome back. And agreed, pick up sets and pray. Otherwise, we’re gonna have to beg and collect our Pennie’s to bribe Luke into doing a set.

I would if I thought we’d get that far down the wave. Given that our Star Trek TNG pals haven’t gotten that many chances I think they’d just get a one box set so I’d want to make sure we got one of each colour (red,blue,yellow) with the harder heads to make (Worf, Data, Laforge) as we can kit bash easier characters like Tasha Yar, Riker, etc. and because I need conflict I need at least one alien. We have a Borg so a Romulon or someone else so we could army build.

Very simply I’d do it like we got the Avengers Suits. A nice 4 pack with swappable parts.

Bummed we didn’t get GOTG v 3 mates. Feels like the end of an era.

THIS X1000. I’ would swap out the red uniform though for an alien adversary and call it a day.
