I know this is discussed from time to time, but has anyone yet found a good motorcycle that fits Minimates just yet?
Side note, and come to think of it; if Marvel wont allow licencing for Minimates vehicles, can't DST make a generic motorcycle for a non Marvel line?
Rick rode a motorbike in the Walking Dead. He also rode a horse. Maybe we need to start bugging Robert Kirkman.

I like the heads; the sculpted bandana masks make them work for me.

Hogan + Mr. T = Bambi

Thanks for putting the effort into this! I appreciated being able to watch it.

I think you're looking at it from the wrong angle, I'm just seeing a pattern of them spreading things out as they did with most other licenses.
If they put all the 'heavy hitters' in the first wave then sales would dry up after that because everyone had all the characters they wanted.
I think most people get that that's how toy lines work. "His odds are pretty slim" doesn't sound like spreading things out. The implication is they don't consider Rodan a 'heavy hitter.'
On a more positive note, I just saw the Gidorah and Hedorah designs and they look great!

I love Minimates because attitude is better than latitude.
-
I get what you're saying, but "Nobody's even mentioned Rodan yet" implies that it's not a cost issue and rather that he was never even considered. You'd think they'd have to bring up Rodan first to say "Naw, he'd cost too much."
-
Nobody's even mentioned Rodan, so yeah, his odds are pretty slim.
That's awfully disappointing. To me, this is like doing a DC line with Superman and Wonder Woman but leaving out Batman.
I guess I'd better try to get ahold of an extra Reaper to customize as a stand in.

Considering that this Bobby Drake could easily pass for a Jim Lee era Bobby Drake, you are getting what you want!
Except for the whole "colors are reversed" thing.

In keeping with con exclusive tradition it needs to be B&W, so it has to be 1954 Gojira.
With Raymond Burr. -
Looks like I better get into customizing if I want to get stuff I want. Good thing there's so much cheap product right now. -
Well, he's not really wrong. I don't think anyone from LC actually buys them. I mean, they even still had Avengers Movie Minimates not that long ago.

I always go to the Lake Charles TRU. Best toy stop I make on a trip back home.

I'm seeing a Series 19 on the schedule, but we'll see.
Is this still on the schedule?
I wonder if this the longest we've gone without knowing about the wave after the current release. We had pics of wave 18 in July of last year.

Camp Lehigh has been in Wheaton, NJ since Captain America #1.
Apparently Marvel does their homework.
If you look at the revision history for that page, Wheaton was added as the city to the wiki on April 14th 2014. Previous to that no city was listed.

Here's my Alexander Pierce quick custom.
Nailed it!

Perhaps you missed the axe in the picture?

Considering that the only ASM1 sets that appear to be left at TRU are the non-Spidey sets, another Spidey seemed like the best choice if we wanted them to sell through.
Can't argue with that. One TRU in my area has at least 6 Gwen/Doc sets still hanging around.

"Boobs? Hey, check out my secret identity!" said every movie superhero ever.

A good comedian knows when a joke is played out.

FYI, TRU is running new sale - clearance minimates are an extra 40% off.
True Detective:Everyone in the show drinks Lonestar Beer (which is marketed as "the national beer of Texas.") The show takes place in Louisiana. Nobody in Louisiana drinks that swill (we have Dixie beer for that) and I don't believe many places east of Lake Charles even stock it. Therefore the whole series is nothing but a hallucination by the Texan, Rust.

What about using clearanced minimate Steve from TRU's SFvsT for a replacement hair piece?
