Nervous, are Falcon's wing pegs in his hands in those pics?
Yep, they come apart and the little pegs fit in the back of his hands. They were designed for that purpose...... So I was told :-)
So he can't hold his guns and extend his wings at the same time, right?

Gotta say I'm totally against blind bags. It's a system designed to cause the customer to buy more product then wanted. I really can't understand why so many people at the customer side of the equation are cool with the arrangement.
It's gambling. Some people like gambling.

Also, the custom case (even pack out) should be the standard. Most comic shops I've been want to sell in sets and the odd case packout leaves them with extras that are difficult to sell.

I suspect the Avengers dump did better for two reasons:
I think I just fell into a parallel universe...

Grocers are probably not what people usually think of for anything other than "cheapo" toys, but there's a chain from TX that has full aisles of name brand toys. Not sure how the DST sales team operates, Zach, but you might want to point them at HEB as a potential outlet.

Take pics next time, this is how we fix things for the future. That's nothing compared to the ones that I saw at my TRU. I luckily found a full set with almost perfect printing, but EVERY other set had terrible alignment issues. On some of them, the webbing was halfway down the face while others had tilted eyes. The webbing behind the white wasn't as bad as I thought it would be though.
There've been multiple pics of the problem earlier in this thread. What exactly are you looking for?

Well, this is a miss for Quality Control...
Maybe that's what the the approved painted sample looks like....

Nope, every single person here wanted a full-armor Hulk. Everyone.
Of course.
But I was referring to also loving Space Armor Wolverine.

I'll take All Monsters Attack over Final Wars any day. Seriously, take every annoying anime trope, turn it up to 11, and shoehorn into a live action movie and that's Final Wars. It's like nails on a chalkboard.
-
Yeah, Hulk is pretty different. So is Cap. Since everybody wanted a full-armor Hulk and loved Space Armor Wolverine, we thought those were pretty good choices.

You know, I think a property like PvZ could be perfect for blind bag distribution.
Absolutely perfect.
I have zero interest in those.

Provided Rodan could get past the power and pressure of Mothra's flutter attack!
Not a problem. Mothra doesn't want to lose piggyback ride privileges.

I'll be surprised if it isn't the red look for Shatterstar.

I was not disagreeing with.

Yeah, and I don't see why retailers would have said "What we really want is direct rereleases of past figures that are outdated and which will drive down collectability/after market prices"
I mean, if that's what it is, fine. I've got some mates I'd be glad for a second pass at. I'm just saying it seems an unlikely request to me
More than likely it was along the lines of "Blind bag mini figures is a growth category for us. Can you give us something like that?"

Lose the ears and the goblin head looks like it might work for an Uatu.

Also noticed that Hank seems to be missing something on his feet parts, there is jagged raised portions but are colored the same as the rest of the foot. Is the top supposed to be black?
Early paint samples. Beast's feet are not final.

I freakin loved that mail away!

11 looks like Spider Armor Spider-man (aka Web Armor)
14 is Spider Armor III Spider-man ("Ends of the Earth"/Anti Sinister Six)
15 is Spider Armor II Spider-man
35 is "Last Stand" Spider-man
37 is Arachne/Spidergirl (the one who just got a Marvel Legends figure this year)
Much larger version of the image: -
All three flashback spiders at my TRU today had misaligned eyes. And from the LCS, one of the hip balls came right off of my Peter. I barely touched it.

Blind Bag discussion!

$20 would be dismal at a msrp of $6; plus sales tax you spent about $26 for those 4. Then eBay takes about 10% off final value including whatever you're charging for shipping. And Paypal takes their cut.
You'll lose at least $9 in this scenario.
