And a cape that sticks straight out behind the figure.
Stryfe's power set includes super flatulence.
-
They could even label it as CABLE's clone, stryfe so they could use it as an anchor.

I think you should run it by the Organization of Cartographers for Social Equality first.
But seriously, it looks fine. -
There's a strong crop of 20 somethings that I'm seeing at a lot of comic shops.
Do you tell them to get off your lawn when you see them?
Yes, and if they get close enough I whack em with my cane.

I don't think young people has to necessarily mean kids. Those of us who grew up with "classic" Marvel are easily hitting our 40s and 50s now. There's a strong crop of 20 somethings that I'm seeing at a lot of comic shops.

I'll check in the system, and see what it says. Not sure why they weren't on the ship list.
Got some paint samples of the T-Bolts set today, so it's happening! Will try to post the art for both.
Any new developments in the last month?

Today's NOW is Tomorrow's CLASSIC
That's fine. And after they wait 10 years like some of us have been to finish the GS X-men team, they can have the rest of their Uncanny Mighty X-venger Whosawhatzit team the kids like these days. Now get offa my lawn!

It seems odd that while we have 3 major X-men teams that have new fancy costumes and are going through 2 major events soon (BotA, and the Trial of Jean Grey) along with the flagship Mutant Avengers relations team, I was hoping at least one of those boxsets would be filled out before we went back to the 90's
If you have to go there, the flip side of that is we have tons of X-men teams in costumes that have been in print much much longer than the current versions. I was hoping to finish those teams off before we got to this new flash in the pan stuff.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the Rictor and Boom Boom we got are part of the line up this box set represents, not the Liefeld versions we already have, right? So the Capullo version of the team will actually be more complete than the Liefeld version after this set.

Just confirmed by Zach. Hey, I get to start a legit topic.
-
First I've heard of it, where did you find that, elmeaux?
Red Shatterstar, but yes. All Greg Capullo style. Where was that reported?
There was a post over on the Fwoosh about it.
So, we're looking at Shatterstar and Cannonball from this line up?
-
Any truth to this boxset?
No pictures were allowed in yesterday's NYCC panel, but there will be a new X-Force boxset with orange Shatterstar, goatee yellow Cable, Cannonball, and I think Domino again. -
Definitely not red one. Might as well tell him to play in traffic.

Is there a Hastings near Nola now?

I was Zombie Kraven when I stopped into TRU looking for Walking Dead Minimates on Wednesday.

Which one is Ultimate?
-
Use of that costume in DoFP would be great if only to tie into Cyclops' "Would you prefer yellow spandex?" line.

Found in NW Houston this morning.

No, he's going on a date with him. You better put out, Zach.

Monsters series 2 is down to $2.48.
-
Weird. Was there a price tag for them?
No, and they came up on the price checker as not found. There wasn't a whole case worth there so either someone pulled a fast one with a return, or they used a different upc/sku to move them.

In fact, I think DST could possibly make it easier to collect the line by just making all LCS cases "custom cases" and eliminating the 1-per-case variant standard cases. My understanding is that stores need to order certain volume to qualify for "custom cases", so if a low-volume shop only orders one or two cases, they may be stuck with 'mates that they can't move because the one-per-case pack is gone. However, if every case offered 3 full sets, then the shop may be more likely to sell all of the 'mates together in a set rather than be the single pack, and they always have the option to break the sets up and just sell them individually if they so desire. With how many different options there are for online purchases now (hell, you can buy Minimates direct from Amazon now, something that would have been unheard of 5 years ago), the one-per-case variant has become more of a hindrance than incentive for LCS stores.
^^^This. It is absolutely a problem.

It's the internet. Of course I took a picture.

My local TRU also got the Warthog sets, about a week ago. I thought it was a fluke stockroom find.
