Thanks guys. Those shelves came from Ikea. There is a glass panel that slides in from the top which is great because it prevents shelf diving. I didnt put it in because there would be too much reflection from the flash. Sadly, theyve been discontinued for a few years now. I wish I would have gotten more while they were available. I had to pack up all my DC Minimates to make more roome for the Marvel stuff. I have five of those Container Store displays for individual characters. Ill try to up them soon.

Thanks guys! I'm not a huge Drax fan myself but the current Marvel cosmic stuff is exceptional and these characters need some representation. That and Drax was really easy! I think Im going to attempt Peter Quill. I have an idea but I dont know if it'll work. I wouldnt even know where to start with Rocket Racoon LOL! Guardians would make a great box set. Drax, Quill, or Rocket Racoon Cosmo and Mantis. I'd buy it.

I bought the Guardians of the Galaxy Marvel Universe Box set the other day and though how cool it would be to get them in Minimate form.

I had a little free time tonight so I made a really quick modern Drax. Old Hulk blue pants black shoes and a little red and green paint.

Dredd is basically a blue mate with Guardsman boots andgloves. The helmet is a sculpted and painted X3 Juggernaut helmet. The kneepads are(poorly) sculpted, so is the zipper. Since that pic was taken I've added a setof elbow pads from the Ghostbusters. The shoulder pads, badge and belt buckleare from some old Dredd toys that came out about 15 years ago. I chopped themup and carved them out to get on the Minimate body. The updated Conan is a fewpages back. I used the tattooed guy from the Pirates sets wristbands.

Odin looks a little... flat. Hope he gets some paint or something. I dont much care about the rest but they are cool enough that I'll pick them up.

After I figuredout who he was talking about I had to laugh. I told him "No they haven’tmade him yet." Yeah me too. I had to put it on backwards to get it on the proper leg and it still looks great. I should have picked up more BW's back when they were on clearance for three bucks.

Stark Enterprises/ Tonys Lab has been done to death and the X-Mansion would just be a mansion. Baxter Building has an iconic look, you can do the Fantasticar, The Pogo Plane, Ben's flying bike thingie, Negetive Zone Portal... Baxter Building. No contest. Though Castle Greyskull and The Boars Nest would rock.

Perhaps when the 15th anniversary rolls around we'll see a pair of Comic GR Box Sets

I would buy that first box in half a heartbeat. Swap out Mephisto (since we already have him) for Blackout in the second box and I'd jump on that too.

A HYDRA box set including Von Strucker, Viper, and two army builders would sell. Make one of the agents a specialist of some kind and it'll do even better. This formula would work with SHIELD too... AIM, not so much.

I think if any single Mate were out of scale, it's the Destroyer.

Not if youre thinking of the comic version.
