  1. How do you contact customer service? My Aurora 2nd hairpiece was warped.

Mine was tough to put on. I thought it was warped but I did get it on. Its quite tight. It also sits away from her shoulders. As if to make room for a cape... Strange. Try holding it over steam to soften it and then put it on. thats should work.

  2. oh awesome! The really have hit the ball out of the park with the Alpha Flight 'mates. aside from maybe wanting Sasquatch to be sculpted with a little more shagginess, i really can't find much to fault any of the sets. The extra's included (2 masks for Vindicator, Puck Hand, Twins hands & extra hair, flight stands, robot head, hologram head, lightning etc...) are superb. these sets are about as close to 10/10 as one could get, i think. There's very little in the way of 'missed opportunities' here.

Little help from anyone who read AlphaFlight - was the Holo-head from box featured much in the comics?

I think that came later on in the series when Madison Jefferies became a sort of Ghost in the Machine. Most of the time he just appeared as Box. It has been many many years but I think thats the case.

  3. The coolest accessory aside from Pucks "standing" hand has to be the Aurora/Northstar "hand holding" hands. You cant see it in the group shot very well so here is a close up. This I think was a REALLY cool touch... No pun intended. One word of warning. One of my Sassy's leg pegs snapped right off. So be careful... Lucky for me I had a spare Professor Hulk to swap out the broken piece.

  4. I found these today. What a plesant surprise. I only picked up Box and Vindicator. I cant seem to figure out the how the flight stand (the same one that came with HoG Nova works with either figure though... Tomorrow at NYCC ill get my Alpha Flight Box Sets and my AF collection will be complete! They also had the SDCC MvC box with Red Hulk and Stealth IM. I had no idea that was coming either.

  5. Everytime I see some early production pics and think "Im going to take a break and pass on a set" the ready to ship pics change my mind. Both sets look great. Love the new parts and Odin looks way better to me than he did in the early pics. Im officially excited.

  6. I looked for the thread about DST sending replacement parts and can't seem to find it, but this is the next most logical place to put this comment. I had bought an Iron Man/Arthur pack that was missing the lance. I emailed DST customer service on a Tuesday night, got a response on Wednesday and had the lance in my hand on Saturday. I couldn't believe it! Just wanted to say thanks here for that level of customer service in hopes they'll read it. It's an example of what keeps me buying these awesome toys.

Yet my MS Mephisto still has two left hands...

  7. My advice is check out www.boardgamegeeks.com. Those guys are as serious about games as we are about Minimates. I think Scooby would be cool as a simplified Arkhan Horror type game. Cooperative gameplay, player inventory, exploration... Assistance cards like Don Knotts give you a flashlight roll again or Cass Elliott finds a box of Scooby Snacks gain a courage tolken, Scrappy cant shut up Monster gets a free move... Im not a mechanics kind of guy so I cant be of too much help. Fury of Dracula could be another cool template. Each character having their own merits and flaws. One player is the "monster" who moves about the board unseen secretly leaving behind traps for the Scooby Gang to disarm... Sounds like youre on to something. I'd like to see what you come up with. My one bit of advice is go with the classic "Scooby Doo Where Are You?" No need to bog down the characters with relationships and parents.
