Yes, I have been using the citadel base paints. I will pick up some primer!

Ok so I bought some Citadel paints. In the set I got I had issues with a couple of the individual paints. Firstly, the white I got didn't seem to be sealed right so it's all chunky. Is there anything I can do to salvage some of it like add water or anything? Or should I just chuck it? Secondly, my gold came the opposite way, totally watery. Can I fix that or no?

Next, what is some advice for removing paints from minimate parts? I have used goof off in the past to remove tampos but what it you want to remove the paint from a hairpiece? Are they molded in that color plastic or can it be removed? For example I want to recolor mystique's hair from the days of future past box set. I know it can be a pain to paint over reddish colors. So is there an option to strip the color off first? Thanks in advance!

Anyone have 1:18 scale vehicles? Can you confirm if they're too big for minimates? Thanks.

got my sets from Luke! i haven't applied any of the stickers yet as it's already way past my bed time, but i put my quick customs (Morph, Joseph and Cecilia) together and put everyone in their spots.

Well it's that and you can see webbing under the eyes but that's minor.

Man these are hard to come by. My LCS is still waiting on their order.

LOL since we're nitpicking... how the heck does she mimic the voices? For example... in the opening scene from X-Men first class... she sees a picture of Charles's mom and mimics that but how in the world would she know what her voice sounds like? Hmmm mmm, let that sink in... hehe

It looks like they got one full case of wave 19, a case of valiant 'mates, and they still have a couple infinity sets as well.

haha that would be cool I suppose. You would only be like the 3rd person I've shown my minimates to, lol... well in person anyway. And no one has seen my whole collection besides me.

I am really excited for this wave too. I think I ordered 2 cases.....which is the most I have ever ordered of any wave before. I don't collect movie mates so this wave more than makes up for the movie waves that we will get this year. Not that I dislike the movie mates, I just had to make a pledge very early in my collecting that I had some kind of boundary in place!

Ditto for me. I also pledged to (mostly) stay away from movie waves. However I did get the entire GotG wave and a few Wolverine movie packs.

Krule was another eXternal, like Sam and Gideon and Selene. He was all purple with a long red braid and he made it into Toy Biz's line

Ha! I had that Krule toy when I was a kid. I thought it was the goofiest looking thing... and I lost the hairpiece eventually.

Thanks for the advice fellas. I was looking at the prices of citadels paints and wanted to get some feedback. I used the cheap stuff on my first customs. Time to upgrade I suppose! Been working on some decals the last few days. I hope no one minds that I am using bits and pieces from ones they shared... hehe

Citadel paint... is it that much better than the cheap stuff from Michaels???
