Is she actually called "Spider-Gwen" in the comics? I always assumed that was just a nickname. But yeah, it's pretty silly.
It's "Spider-Girl" in the comic.

Having just finished the season, I definitely don't think Jon is dead. Melisandre has never been wrong in her predictions before. I think she set Stannis up to fail and bailed for Castle Black to try to get to Jon again. She is powerful and I personally think she'll be key to Jon's resurrection.

I'm interested in seeing Peter Parker as a successful business man (not sure how the "body guard" angle works in a universe where Tony Stark has already outed himself as a body guard though).
Don't forget that we're talking about a world filled with people who believed Peter when he said he was "just supplying tech to Spider-Man"... Not the brightest group of people.

I started reading comics weekly during Civil War and pretty much only buy Spider-Man related titles. My problem with Marvel right now is that since I haven't kept up on the goings on of the larger universe (other than reading the occasional Wiki entry) and am totally dumbfounded by Secret Wars. I read the first 2 issues and I was completely lost. I hope that before these new titles start up, we get a couple of standalone issues that put the current universe in layman's terms for people like me who just like to keep to themselves in their own little corner.

Just got mine as well. It looks great! Thanks Shane and Zach!

Also, anyone else had the Manbat encounter? After the first time you see him, where do you go next?
You are supposed to glide and land on him during that first encounter. It triggers a cutscenes that progresses the mission. I'm sure you'll run into him again.

I would definitely recommend starting with the first two games. Not only will they help you follow along with the story, but they're also just great games that deserve to be played. You can skip "Origins "though.

He was in high school the first third of the first Raimi movie and in high school for all of The Amazing Spider-Man. Despite this, I don't feel that Peter's time in high school has been accurately represented on screen. Hopefully this new movie breaks out of the cliches that have been used to portray high school in films recently.

I'll take one! Thanks!

As much as I like Dooku, Saruman is more powerful by far.

I'm hoping Paramount does some big promotion for the 50th anniversary next year. But without a movie, there's going to be less retail interest at mass.
There is a movie coming out next year, Star Trek Beyond.

I am deeply saddend by this. The man was a legend.

I'm at the point now where I wait for the price drop on these. So far the company has really done nothing to change the formula and mix it up a little. Once they show me that they can do that, I'll be on board for full retail price.

I wonder how many multiple purchases such packaging encourages for those collectors who want one to open and another to stay closed.
I definitely do that for any packaging I really like. Special packaging grabs collectors' attentions and attracts them to the booth. I think it would help the Minimates at the con to get more attention.

Well, can't say I'm too excited about all this. It seems so convoluted. I'll stick with Spidey and Ant-Man though.

Is this the worst quality controlled wave yet?
I've noticed it getting worse and worse lately. It seems to only be a problem for the MARVEL line though. Everything else seems to be up to par.

She needs red eyes, I wish she had an alternate head
If only there was someone on this board who could do that...

Do these boxes usually have an order in which the figures are packed? Like if someone here got a fresh case and opened them front to back, they could say the order if all 18 figures. That would surely help.

This isn't Man of Steel 2. This is basically a Justice League prequel/set-up. With that being said, I agree that it looks a little stuffed (and that worries me).
I didn't love MoS, but I feel that most of my issues with it stemmed from the writing. Hopefully Terrio can do better than Goyer (I think he can). I'm also not convinced that Jesse is the right pick for Lex and I'm also concerned about Gal Gadot's acting ability. Hoping for the best.
