UGH!!! The pre-order for the K Mart exclusive Kylo Ren went up this morning and sold out in an hour. I missed it...

With only one K Mart near me, I hope I won't have too much trouble finding one.

Everyone would have been happier, guaranteed. The people towards the end of the line were clearly disappointed by the barren shelves. Damn shame too since most of the kids that actually showed were towards the back.

I got to my TRU at 8:40 on Force Friday. I was seventh in line until everyone's friends started showing up and set me back to sixteenth. All in all, everyone was pretty nice and talkative.

There was a guy that had been there since the early afternoon and when four of his buddies showed up, they made up the front of the line. When they started openly talking about reselling what they were buying to a local shop, it was evident that there'd be problems once we got in.

When the doors opened everyone filed in nicely. By the time I got into the aisle the guys at the front had two carts pushed up against the shelves and were sweeping product into the carts. Luckily, they started with the 3.75" which allowed me to squeeze around them and grab the 6" Black Series. I got one of each and got out as fast as I could.

Fun night overall!

Can someone explain to me what/when/where this is please?

Force Friday is the product launch for all merchandise from The Force Awakens. This means comics, books, toys, and more. It will take place on Friday September 4 with most major retailers (ToysRUs, Target, Walmart, etc.) opening their doors at midnight. All products will also be hitting online retailers at midnight as well. Hope that helps!

Is anyone else going to be participating in this event? If so, which products are you planning on picking up?

I'm in for anything Black Series, Funko, and LEGO.

Perhaps the group shot could be placed on the lip that sticks up at the back of the box that holds the bags? Seems like enough space to fully advertise the figures.

There literally could not be a worse day for these to come out than Sept. 4! I'm going to be hundreds in the hole from Force Friday. No way I can shell out more for these no matter how much I want them. Looks like it might have to be a pass on these for me...

Sony sold the merchandising rights to Spider-Man back to Marvel a while ago. There should be no problem getting Spider-Man into this wave.

He's being serious. We've gotten plenty of Deadpool for now. Why waste a wave on a character that has the most comic accurate look ever and a couple other characters with boring costumes?

The reaction to this movie is disappointing, such an awesome cast and director, I'm interested to see it tomorrow to find out what went so wrong

While I won't dispute that the cast is uber talented, I have to question calling Trank "awesome" at this point. He had one good movie so far... Not good enough for awesome in my book. At this point, too much is pointing to all of those rumors of production problems being true. It's probably a good thing that he "dropped out of" Star Wars.

Especially from FOX... They don't have a standard like Universal (for example-Jurassic World) where they hold review embargoes until just before release. Definitely not a good sign.

For what it's worth, I've already given up on ordering from TRU.com. I NEVER had a good experience with them (either wrong product or severe damage). If I don't find it in store, I don't buy it. I refuse to pay extra on eBay for something that should be easily attainable at retail price. There are gaping holes in my collection because of this, but hey, occasionally I get lucky and hit the jackpot in store.

I don't collect the full Turtles line (just pick and choose certain 'Mates from it), but I feel for all of you that have had trouble with this wave. Let's just hope we have better luck with Walgreens...
