Just ordered Andrea from "ATOMIK Toys". They said she's in stock as well, but BigBadToyStore still has these on the pre-order status. Oh well, I was only interested in Andrea from the LCS wave two anyway. I mean it would be nice to have the others, but funds are short after X-Mas and I have to buy the key characters to put together my Alexandria line-up...

So today is Yule in our home, and we opened half our gifts (the other half to be opened on Christmas for our christian side of the family). I was surprised when my wife gave me the comic-con Rick and Zombie, as well as the two Wave Two exclusives. Apparent;y she ran into my friend at TRU before he had a chance to call me, and she picked them up earlier this week... YAY WIFE!!!

Well my TRU hasn't gotten in Wave Two yet, but they did get in two more cases of Wave One. So now between the two cases released early, the nine Black Friday cases, and now the two cases I saw today, that makes thirteen cases total my TRU has gotten in of Wave One. I have a bad feeling about this though. My TRU is notorious for overstocking a wave TO DEATH, then skip multiple waves to come. I may need some help from some of you guys I helped with the Shane & Glen's, so I can get the TRU Exclusives in Wave Two...

Just thought I'd let everyone know...

Stopped by my local TJ MAX with the wife today, and they had a fair amount of the 16" Galactus and the 16" Sentinel for the Marvel Universe line. Both figures were painted in the SDCC colors, but had action figures with them (Wolverine, Silver Surfer respectably), so they are repaint Retail versions. My TJ MAX had about 3 Galactus figures and 8 Sentinels, priced at $29.98. I picked up an extra Sentinel for my son for X-Mas, he already has 2, but it's always more fun to have your X-Men fight a triad of mutant hunting metal...

I have one Glen and Shane set left if anyone's sick of the hunt...

On a lighter note, I wouldn't mind seeing an Abraham minimate, and maybe that latino chick he was traveling with in the books (can't remember her name), basically everyone that traveled with Rick to the Alexandria colony. Oooo Oooo, maybe even a dignified Douglas (the head of the Alexandria Colony) with a glass of Scotch...

That trailer looks good. Do we know who the baddie is supposed to be?

People say it's either Gary Mitchell or Khan.

So the enterprise hits in July? That's when the movie is released (depending where you live) so maybe we will see an accompanying wave to launch this line?

Actually there's one more speculation on who the baddie might be, and that's "Garth of Izar" from the TOS episode "Whom Gods Destroy"... In short, the story behind Garth is that he was a Starfleet captain that went mad.

Kinda off the subject of minimates, but does have to do with "Street Fighter X Tekken"... My local target just put SFXT into it's clearance bin and I picked it up today on PS3 for $8. They also had it on XBox360 for $11. If anyones fallen in love with the minimates, but doesn't own the game, I'm willing to make a trip back up there and get copies to trade for "two mates per game"... Just putting it out there...

I also have some Glen and Shane sets to trade (MIP). I'm going to hold on to them through the holidays for board members interested, then return them after the holidays if no one else shows interest. The truth of the matter is, I think the Wave 1 sets have just about run their coarse, and everyone who needs them has gotten them...

Remember how I speculated that, having bought the Amazing Bag-Man from a comic book store, I'd find him for regular price? Yeah, that happened. Saw the set at Wal-Mart, picked up Blastaar and Prof X. Both are very nice. Passed on Miles Spidey and a second Bag Man for now, and Jubilee forever. A word of warning to you Jubilee fans, though: I've read that some people have had trouble with one of her arms breaking off, so be careful with her.

Hey Hellpop, where you located? All my Wal-Marts are just now getting in the Scarlet Witch wave, which is pissing me off because I'm jonesing for a Bombastic Bag Head for my sons X-Mas present, and all the scalpers have them on eBay for like $50+.

For those of you not looking to trade, any news from your TRU frontline. Since Black Friday, my TRU hasn't put any more out, but considering they blew through 9 cases, chances are that's all they'll get...

Just putting this out there for anyone interested... Went to my TRU this morning and they still have several Box/Vindicator and Havok/Storm 2 Packs. If anyone is still in need of these, let me know and I'll be more than happy to run up there and grab them for a trade.

Well folks, I have some news from the front lines of Black Friday. My friend who works at TRU called me yesterday around 7:00p.m. to tell me his store got in NINE cases of WD minimates. Unable to get to TRU last night, he hid three Glen's and three Shane's for me. As of 6:30 a.m. when I went up there, there was only two or three Ricks left. I know Black Friday sales are a little crazy, but to sell almost completely out of WD minimates says a lot for the popularity of the show and comic. I think all the trouble everyones been having getting their hands on these has more to do with supply and demand, rather than scalpers. That said...

Who wants to trade for some Glen's and Shane's? I picked them up for you guys. Go ahead and check your TRU's, if my store got nine cases is, hopefully yours will have gotten some in as well. But if not, I'm up for trades. I'll update my trade list in just a few minutes...

I gave up trying to avoid spoilers with the WD comics. I read the hard back collected editions (because they look oh so good on my book shelf), so I don't get to read the WD but once a year...

My friend up at TRU just told me that they just put out another case today. I'm on my way up there in just a few minutes, keep your fingers crossed guys, and I might have some more Glen's and Shane's to trade...

I ended up not needing to use Storm, so I never opened the Storm / Havok TRU 2 Pack, which means I have an extra MIP if anyone needs it. Check my list in the Flea Mall to see if we can trade...

I'm pretty sure somebody is going to "flame on" at me about my comments in this thread....not what I'm trying to do but bring it on ....I genuinely feel that the TRU stuff isn't just being scalped I just think it's bloody popular .

Not trying to flame or argue, but the first time I found these, the entire case was on the pegs, minus the exclusives.

That either says "scalper" or "Minimate collector" to me, not "popular".

"Popular" would indicate some of the Ricks & zombies gone, or an uneven number of all the packs left (like when I finally got mine, there were 2 Glenns & 1 Shane).

The fact that the only ones missing were the exclusives, says to me it was a collector who'd already gotten the rest of the wave at their LCS, or someone who saw a goldmine in those shiny silver stickers.

Well my TRU just got in "Wave 14", and I cleaned them out. Not only do I need a set for my collection, but I also couldn't turn down the chance to get some new heads for customs (Vindicator and Storm). But after beheading the young ladies I'm left with a loose Havok and a loose Box for trade. My list is up in the Flea Mall for those interested...

Just wanted to make a post and let everyone know that both sets have been spoken for now. For those of you that missed out, I'll keep and eye out at my TRU for more...

Just went to my TRU and the mysterious third case that's been missing for 2 weeks now appeared in the back room. One of my friends that works there called me up and told me, so I rushed on over. I have two "TRU Shane 2-Packs" and two "TRU Glen 2-Packs" to trade. I'd prefer to trade over sell, so please keep that in mind when PMing me. If I'm sitting on these things for two or three weeks and no one has anything to trade, and people are still looking, then I might consider selling them, but for now trades only. Keep in mind I prefer Star Trek minimates, and some 2 packs can be had for cheap on eBay, so you could "Buy It Now" and simply have them shipped to my house rather than yours. I prefer TOS Red Shirts "Scotty", Red Dresses "Yeoman Rand", and Blue & Yellow Shirts "Kirk, McCoy, Spock, Sulu, and Chekov". But I'm also willing to consider other trades as well considering I need parts (mostly heads) for my customs. So I hope I can help a fellow board member out...

I'm a fat guy with a big beard, but no ponytail... But then I'm not a scalper and don't have the prerequisite hair extension...
