If that's the case, do TRU's usually get them around the same time comic shops do? I've err rarely seen em in comic shops.

Nope they are items that I will be producing. Our 3D printer will definitely be involved, among other things. The bonus kit will have a retail value of at least $15.

As do I, I already told everyone I possibly could about this set, even people who aren't collectors of any sort but generally like little, odd toys that're especially Spidey fans and yeah, already two of my buds would like to get a set along with me.

So I was wondering, do by chance the cost of minimates go up?? I'm hearing from a few peeps that they're ten bucks now and some listings on TRU.com are at $9.99. I don't remember their retail price at TRU.

The ones that were listed as $9.99 were the strange ones that aren't available in TRU stores. They were originally available only in comic shops but somehow made it onto places like ToysRUs.com and Walmart.com. The highest I've seen Minimates sold for at Toys R Us was $7.99 (one wave of Marvel Vs. Capcom and one wave of Walking Dead) but they eventually went back down to $7.49.

The SRP for two-packs has been 9.99 for a year or more. TRU charges less for some assortments, and some LCS's seen to charge more, but that is what all of Diamond's wholesale discounts are based on.

I might be wrong, but I think Zak's point was that the MvC3 Red Hulk wasn't supposed to be the Ross 'Rulk', but rather, just a red version of Bruce Banner's original Green Hulk as he appears in the game. So, comparing the Thunderbolts Rulk to the MvC3 Red Hulk might fall under a technicality issue.

Yeah technically the MvsC 3 set included a red colored hulk, but up until this set hit, he was my stand-in.

I really enjoyed messing with Rulk, he's just perfect. I think he blows the MvsC 3 one out of the water.

They are. I believe they used the old Extremis Armor IronMMan's boots, which were huge. Wish they would have used one of the newer figures feet. Other then that it's a cool figure.

Oh okay! Thanks for that, I don't know why I got the impression I got a defective one or something since I knew you couldn't push her feet deeper into the boots. I still agree though, she's an awesome looking figure and I feel reat fortunate to have a Rescue Minimate because as a Rescue fan, there really aren't that many figures made of her.

Yeah, the Extremis boots seem like a rare bad design choice by DST. Swapping them out for normal feet in the correct color is a big improvement.

That sounds like a great idea, actually! Hmmmmm. Does anyone have a recommendation in mine? Who's normal feet match her metallic red finish??
