So 49.95 bucks later I got my first minimates sdcc Rick and zombie

Yeah it is: between the upcoming magazine, episode 4 of the game, season 3 of the show, minimates, and issue #103 it's definitely a lot for the walking dead enthusiast to look forward too.

As well as hardcover book 8 and the new road to wood berry ..

Sometimes they get them a few weeks before comic shop, but not all the time, like I said Luke very often gets toys'r'us ones but its about 3-4 weeks after as I think he orders them when they hit the toys'r'us website

Being an outside the US collector patience is often the best & cheapest way to collect minimates

I know I one of my coworkers is in ny till the 8 th of oct so I was going to have him pick them up for me

Hey guys I'm a new collector of minimates I'm pumped for my first pick ups to come walking dead sdcc and wave 1 as well as max zombie and the expandables set1 any tips or sellers to stay away from ...by the way I live in Bermuda so I don't shop in stores

I don't think this is a problem at all, Zach. You guys have really built up the amount of con exclusives you do, so I think that pulling back a bit is quite justified. One question: in the past, the "build a Minimate" promotion has been predicated on buying a certain amount from the DST booth. But, without any new exclusives, it might be hard for us dedicated Minimate fans to find enough to buy to qualify. Can/will the AFX sets count towards the promotion (assuming you're doing it again this year)? I ask because I'm in DESPERATE need of a new set of Vulture wings, and I was counting on getting them at the booth this year.

Build-a-Minimate should be happening, it's just we lost half of the BRAND-NEW CABINET in transit.

But in the past we've included AFX Minimates purchases for BAM, so hold onto your receipt.

If the build is there can we just buy parts ?

Well, that depends really.

Usually we have tons of members here who are more than happy to secure TRU sets for collectors overseas, but that relies on finding one or more of that set in the first place. The other option is eBay and other retailers, but the prices will obviously go up with them being exclusive and of such popular characters.
