  1. I'm not sure why, but my cases from Diamond aren't arriving until Monday . I was eagerly awaiting the arrival of the UPS truck all day yesterday :(

  2. They could just go ahead and announce them, and then never make them or release them 5 years later. I mean, it is an Image product we're talking about. tongue.pngteehee.gif

You guys left out Top Cow. We've already got Witchblade and Magdalena but there's the Darkness and Cyberforce too.

    And don't forget the Pitt.

Ah, yes! Pitt, Cyberforce, Darkness are all good but don't forget about Maxx.

  3. Mike Allred stuff continues to be my biggest minimate want.

Madman, the Atomics, Red Rocket 7... All things of beauty and color that would translate to fun characters with lots of part changing goodness to supplement with other lines.

Madman would be at the very top of my list too, along with Atomics, but Madman has been with so many different publishers I didn't know if he was right for this list.

So, not many Leifield fans here, but what about Larsen's Savage Dragon? Savage Dragon was my all time favorite Image comic as a kid.

  4. I'm not sure if this is the place to post this but..

After reading the Rob Liefield script today and watching other you tube clips about the beginning of Image I started thinking back fondly on my memories of those first Image series I read as a kid.

I would love to see some minimates based on the original launch titles for Image, minus the Lee stuff since I imagine that's under the DC umbrella now.

    Young Blood 4 Pack:

    Shaft

    Bedrock

    Diehard

    ?

    Image first Issue 4 pack:

    Savage Dragon

    Super Patriot

    Shadow Hawk

Spawn( I know the McFarlane stuff is probably a no go)

    Image Now 4 pack:

    Invincible

    Rick Grimes

    Prophet

    Glory

That's my two cents, what do you guys think?

  5. I may be the only one but I want to read more ! Sure, his draft needs work, but the story would be a compelling one. The rise of the comicbook market and the eventual crash of all things collectable ( 90's) and the part Image comics had to play in that is interesting , to me at least.

  6. I'm all for minimates getting into more stores but to let Walmart sell the LCS stuff is kind of , not a slap in the face but, counter productive? What I mean is, if the goal of the LCS waves is to give your mom and pop comic shops and Web stores ( myself , Luke's, etc) incentive to stock minimates then doesn't letting the biggest retail outlet stock the exact same product ( not their own exclusive , like TRU) as a LCS kind of push the LCS out of business , or the minimate business at least? I'd like to hear Zach/ DST's thoughts on this.

  7. I agree, Disney properties bring more exposure for the Minimate in general. Speaking as a person who sells minimates to folks at conventions who have never heard of the Minimate line and immediately say " Look, Legos " a big license like TWD and now posibly Disney does a lot to bring new customers.

  8. If you guys and gals are tired of these meaningless Big 2 story lines, where someone dies just to be brought back with a new number one issue, then you all should read Image Comics Invincible. It has all the fun of a Super hero comic but it takes the actions of its characters and their deaths much more seriously.

  9. So I went and bought the full color Munsters Coach from TRU and it is an amazing toy. The detail of the sculpt is fantastic and the paint apps are really tight. I love how you can seat 5 minimates in it with ease. Seeing how well this is made is really making want more complex vehicles from DST for my minimates.
