Anyone know DST's minimum quantity to do a run? Maybe we can do a group buy.
Weren't previous army builder dump cases numbered X of 500? That's probably the minimum.
I wonder if Luke could get an exclusive? Maybe run a Kickstarter to fund it so he doesn't get stuck with unsold merch?
From what Zach told me, they could do a run of army builder for an authorized reseller. I wasn't clear what the minimum quantities involved are.
Perhaps if Luke could get enough pre-orders, he could commission a set of AIM, HYDRA, SHIELD, etc.

Can I interest anyone in Pink Pearl?

Madame Hydra / Viper
Enchantress
Justine Hammer (in 3 variants...bio whips, Detroit Steel Armors 1 & 2)
Titania
and...
Girl Ultron

Quasar!
Which one, girl or boy Quasar?

I'm not going to let a defrosted corpsicle tell me to wank it. He and his neo-imperialist buddy Nick Fury can go play Super Soldier / Infinity Serum fluid swap if they want, but leave me out.
HAIL HYDRA!

Captain America would like to share his opinion on this thread...
Captain America commands people to wank it?

I just got my army builder box (2, actually) of movie Hydra guys with Red Skull, and as cool as it is, it just makes me want AIM, SHIELD, and old school Hydra builder boxes even more.

So when does the second set with Sasquatch, Shaman, Snowbird, and Aurora come out?

I do remember Sue having a blow out at the team on wanting to be called the Invisible Woman and not Girl. I think it was around the time of the Malice storyline and it may have something to do with her becoming Malice.
Yep, that's correct. After the whole Malice affair, and her miscarriage, Reed condescends to her (as usual) and Sue basically tells Reed to go f**k himself (which, being Mister Fantastic, he actually can) and changes her name to Invisible Woman.
Reed is my second-most-hated team lead after Cyclops. They're both just anal-retentive d-bags, but at least Reed is a genius, while Cyclops is just a holier-than-thou asshat.

The Photon Minimate time-traveled to the past and replaced her past self in that four-pack, because her past self had a dentist appointment that she could not reschedule. Gingivitis is no joke.
I think you need to create an Immortus minimate to sort this out.

Well my ungrateful friend find youself a green Jimmy Olsen head that looks fuck all like Jimmy Olsen & green .....
....& shove it up your arse.
I don't think doing so would turn it green.

Okay, I'm going to modify undeadpool's guess to say:
Thing Silver Surfer /Annihilus
Firelord/Airwalker
Morbius/Spiderman Blade
Hulk/Absorbing Man (fear itself versions)
-
But a Hulk head on a Hulk body would just look like Hulk....

The Doombot Minimate we made was meant to be a Doombot from the 1960s, amd not a Doombot from today. If we had called it a Servo-Guard, it would have been from the wrong era. I'll see about getting you guys a modern Doombot ASAP.
Also, photos from the 1950s are black and white because the world was black and white back then. The world turned color around 1961.
Also, we have never made a Power Woman figure. Only Jewel. That would be like saying the Yellowjacket figure should be called Giant Man.
Hope that clears things up.
Okay, figures are a snapshot in time, named after what they were called during the time period the minimate is modeled upon. That makes sense.
So, if that's the case, why is the Secret Wars "Captain Marvel" labeled as "Photon", when she was never called that during the Secret Wars?
-
"Power Woman" (I have never seen Jewel called that)
New Avengers, Vol. 2, #8.
Released January, 2011.
Note that her Current Alias in the Marvel Wikia is listed as "Power Woman".

Did you notice that Sunfire from AoA is named Sunspot on the box? People make mistakes, ask DSTChuck what he thinks I'm interested what he would say.
They must have fixed that (hey...look...they can fix things!), as the version on Amazon says Sunfire:

According to this Marvel Wiki:
"Originally the term "Doombot" applied to various different robots all created by Doctor Doom for various functions. The term "Doombot" was originally given to most of the robots created by Von Doom including the series that was later termed as Servo-Guards. The title of "Doombot" was later specifically listed to only to his armored duplicate robots."
So now I think it is you who should be tarred and feathered in the public square. Below is a picture to support my findings.
Errr, but that article supports my point. "Doombot" is a retired term for the Servo-Guards.
That's like saying the Power Woman minimate should called "Jewel", because she used to be called that....
errr.....WAIT....!!!
OMG THERE'S MORE MISNAMINGS!!!!

So I'm reading Jack Kirby's Fourth Wold Omnibus, Volume 1, and there is a bit in there where a clone of Jimmy Olsen is turned into a giant, super-strong, Kryptonite-enfused baddie who looks just Jimmy Olsen's head attached to Hulk's body:
Obviously, this is a perfect candidate for a custom minimate.
I have plenty of Hulk bodies, but what should I use for Jimmy Olsen's head?

This image is the reason people have been mentioning Morbius
Doing some character research...can anyone identify some of the other partially shown characters?
In the very lower right-hand corner is Starfox's hips/waist/upper legs.
But nobody wants a Starfox minimate, do they?
-
No need to lock, guys! Carry on!
Agreed, If we deleted/closed everything that annoyed someone, we'd have about half a dozen topics and about the same number of members.
In fact, we should hold this thread open and hostage until DST issues a statement recognizing their error and offers to sell those round Minimate stands in batches of 100.

So, uh, where do you get those lingerie Barbie dolls with the thigh-high stockings?
Just, you know, in case I need to get a present for my niece....or something....
-
The aroma of Doom Bar combines an accomplished balance of spicy resinous hop inviting sweet malt & delicate roasted notes. The mouth feel is a perfectly balanced & complex blend of succulent dried fruit, lightly roasted malted notes & a subtle yet assertive bitterness. The bitterness remains into the finish with dry fruity notes which implores me to go back for more.
Sharp's should follow DST's example and relabel this ale as a lager, just to see if anyone cares or notices....

i dont think ive ever seen anyone publicly mocked at comic con before for not knowing the right name....
In that case, it's time you stopped slacking off in the publicly mockery department and do your duty!
-
is the packaging really gonna prevent YOU from calling your doombots "servo guards"? it doesnt for me, so i dont see the problem. The point of minimates is that they can be just about whatever you want them to be, literally, so just through your own mental name tag on em
But think of the children!
You and I know they're not really Doombots, but what about all those young kids who get one as a present and learn the wrong name?
It may sound harmless now, but fast forward 20 years into their future when they attend a ComicCon, use the wrong name, are publicly mocked, and then despondently descend into a vodka-fueled rage against the world and either turn into Whiplash or die of alcoholism.
