If Target carried them, at least their clearance sales would be a bit more realistic for moving product off shelves. Honestly, if any other company picked up Minimates, I'd prefer it were Target.

Also, it'd be even better to have exclusive waves at TRU, another at Target, and more at specialty! I'd imagine we'd get more characters we'd never get otherwise (Phoneix-5 Magik and Namor, perhaps?)

There are more Targets than TRUs. I would imagine the production numbers would be around the same, only then spread over more stores, leading it to look like less were produced. And who knows, maybe they'd increase the production numbers? But if TRU would clearance out things like the Boomer & Rictor packs for $1.24 or $2.24 like Target would, I'd clear out every TRU in Los Angeles!

I don't want to lose TRU as an exclusive partner. But I'd love to add Target, and I don't think it'd be as bad as everyone thinks. Plus, with more store traffic, it could bring in a huge wave of new fans!

Exactly. I never said stop selling them at TRU, but there's no way it could hurt to have them available at more stores. There are about six Wal-Marts and three Targets near me. I'd like to have more of a chance of finding these than to rely on the one TRU in my area that is unreliable when it comes to stocking these, to say the least. Let's not even discuss the unreliability of TRU online.

I agree Nebraska. I don't read comics anymore, so I have no clue if that's his modern color. However, it's too maroon and looks awful with his skin tone.

I doubt it will ever happen, but I'd love a couple of Mutant Massacre box sets or waves. I love the Marauders and think they'd look great as minimates. Including a damaged wings Angel would be sweet.

That Human Torch and Iceman fight was awesome. It reminded me that I have a question. One of the Iceman figures was discolored. What figure is that, and is that a common issue with the translucent figures? I have a frosted Iceman variant I'm afraid to display because of that issue.

I am not a fan of the modern figures. Considering we've already had what I thought people considered near perfect versions of both Hawkeye and Strange (Disney and Defenders/Strange Tales), I really hope neither of those are the updates.

Black Panther and Wasp? I guess they would have more mass appeal because of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Nighthawk, Mockingbird

Hellcat/Tigra variant, Mandroid

Knocks out the first West Coast Avengers roster, Giant Size X-men, and gives us great depth for Defenders. But it'll never happen because there's no "A-listers"...

Sorry, this is probably a noobish question. If we do get Mockingbird and Tigra mates, what Iron Man armor is Rhodey wearing on WCA #1? I'm by no means an Iron Man armor expert, but it looks like Silver Centurion to me.

Yeah, that boat is a bit pricey. However, I think Smee might be my favorite of the bunch. That said, Wendy is actually my least favorite of the bunch.

Those are some great figures. I guess I'll track down another Magik and Warlock. I need another female body for powered down Amara anyway. I have no clue where I saw the recipe for her on here. Anyone remember? This is a pricey team to complete powered down.

So, I'm debating selling my Walking Dead collection because I need to minimize what I collect. Any suggestions as to what a reasonable price would be for these? So far, I have every Walking Dead set released. They're all NIB as well.

Mine weren't in the best condition when they arrived. All of the packages were dinged up in one way or another.

I finally bought another New Mutants set so I could have a Doug to complete the team. I ended up using Suspended Captain America's face and think its a pretty good resemblance. Anyone else who's made a Doug, what gave did you use? I'm just curious if there's another I can use because I kinda love that Cap figure and would like to display him too.

So, Zach, any chance this "unique" box set you mentioned in another thread is a teleporter box set that includes a Gateway to complete my outback X-Men? I REALLY want him. I'm sure it's not, but a man can dream.

I came late to the collecting party and am still catching up on some figures. I assume I should forego getting the Elektra from the Shadowlands wave and wait for this box set.

Zexion, I saw both of those sets you're looking for today on eBay. Right now, I think they're both fairly cheap, around $6 a piece with $6 shipping and 3 days to go. If you can't find them, let me know and I'll try to get a link.

I was able to get the brown Wolverine/Dark Magneto set as well as the frosted Iceman/Firestar set off eBay. I just need to get an extra Colossus from wave 47 and I'll have my teams. Although no one suggested the frosted version of Iceman, I've been wanting it for a while. I'm also loving the Dark Magneto.
