Super excited for Darkhawk and Cosmic Ghost Rider. Nice to finally have a Moondragon, the new Warlock looks nice. Another Starlord and Gamora....whatever. But Angela? Come on. I'd much rather have Gladiator, or especially a Phyla since we are getting Heather!

I've been diligently scouring my Walgreens for weeks, and today I finally found one that had the wave! I don't know about the zero peg rule, but this store only had the Endgame set and animated series 8.

Looked at the left side of the picture, and for a second, my heart skipped a beat that we were getting a Gladiator minimate! But then I looked at the others, and realized that's just the side of Dr. Strange. ?

I had the Walgreens no sale issue this morning. Found all 4, went to buy, they're like "we can't sell these." I went back out at 2, to a different Walgreens, they rang up no problem. The only problem was they didn't have all the sets, just the exclusives. I was planning on waiting on IM and Thanos for the box set anyway, so now I'll just have to wait and get Spidey and Hulk whenever TRU gets around to releasing their wave, and I find the Groot/Rocket set....

I got the Zombie Villains box set at Ross last week, along with a minimate Enterprise. $10 each. So random!

Honestly, between having more accessories than one figure could hold at a time, or getting an extra character each series, I'd much rather have more characters. Bring on the BAF!

I have to say, I do think the Iron Man arms that are used on Iron Skull are cool. They have much more detailing, give the mechanical armored look without having a big bulky add on piece. Not sure what kind of poses and play people are trying to do that is that severely limited by these shoulders....

$35 shipped? That seems like even less than what it would cost if you found it at Walgreens! Sounds like a good deal to me!

1995-1998 X-Force could work and is up there on my wishlist. That run remains one of my favorite nobody else cares runs in comics. Adam Pollina's art was so unique and beautiful.

 

I agree. I loved the Purple/Yellow uniforms, gave the team an actual unified aesthetic. It hasn't really made it's mark on history, though, for sure. I doubt it would be very high on the list of minimates to be made.

So I know a giant chunk of this thread was lost in the update, but has anyone seen these out in the wild yet? Hoping they hit stores in time for the BOGO sale TRU is having for sdcc.....

I'm sure the latest TRU series won't come out before this sale, just like every time they do these sales. BOGO on pegwarmers. Boo.

Looked up stock online, found 2 Walgreens near me (Atlanta, GA) that had them listed in stock. One didn't have any out, but the 2nd one did. Got the whole series. Glad to have that done until December.....

I was a bit disappointed there was no Flash head for Agent Venom.

Couldn't you just do that by taking the head off the "half and half" Peter and put it on a regular Peter body?

I do have a lot of nostalgia weighing in on this, but Wave 50's Cyborg Spider-man is up there for me. The detail they put into it, getting it so completely accurate to the way it looked in the comic - something that only was in like 2 issues ever. Excellent.

Agreed. Just look at Lizard - the tampo head lizard that came with six-armed spider-man can't compare to the sculpted head from Luke's box set.

I'm sure they'll have it online, when they got the exclusive Agent Venom Marvel Legend, I ordered mine online.

If this movie was going to be made, I'm glad to see they are really embracing everything that can be done with the character, between his powers and the environments he can use then in. I do love how there is an actual train wreck in the trailer, I can't help but wonder if that's a comment on some of the rumors going around before the movie was made.

Or it could be because train wrecks are commonplace on Topham Hatt's railway. Never, ever ride the train on the Island of Sodor.

My only issue so far is that Nova's helmet is black, when it's yellow in the cartoon, I'm sure that will be fixed by the time the figure comes out. The 2099 and Agent Venom look great! And I love the "Wtf?" face on the ultimate spidey - really captures the spirit of the cartoon.

I believe that he's had both black and gold/yellow in the show (My son loves Ultimate Spidey and Avengers Assemble)

Ah. Just looked it up in the wiki, looks like Sam got the black helmet in later episodes. Guess I'm behind in my USM watching.

So Luke said that he's going to show the stickers before the 29th.....that's only 2 days away now......
