Those pictures are incredible, the top two are especially gruesome.

The Super Robot Chogokin line is awesome just way past my budget, I really want the Franky figure.

All of these QC problems are bumming me out, I'm only buying the female sets, hopefully I'll get a decent set when I eventually pick them up.

Damn, I need to find one of these. How much are they? Does anyone know if there are Ross's in New York?

They are listed at $6.99, and I just looked up Ross in NY looks like there is one on Broadway.

SFxT is 4-3-3-2 at specialty. Four Ken/Steve, 3 Sagat/King, 3 Cammy/Nina, 2 Poison/Lili. Not certain of the TRU breakdown on that assortment.

Ryu is definitely in Series 2 of SFxT, with Yoshimitsu. He's the common set at specialty, and he'll also be at TRU. Slightly different facial features, not sure what else, though.

Shot King and Sagat the other day. King is my new favorite Minimate ever. Sagat is just a great basic 'Mate. Pics soon.

Thanks for the info Zach, I'm really happy to be getting all these Street Fighter and Final Fight characters, hopefully one day Poison, Mike Haggar and Rolento will have Cody, Guy and Sodom Minimates joining them.

Looks like I'll be purchasing both Ryu's then, not that I'm complaining, I say the more Capcom 'mates the better.

I know Ryu was displayed with the rest of the line at SDCC, but is going to be released in SFxT or will he only be in Marvel Vs. Capcom? I just want to know so I don't purchase the Captain America and Ryu pack, if he's going to be released again in Street Fighter X Tekken.

Has anyone else noticed that old DC minimates (W1 Superman,W1 Batman, Powergirl, Dr. Fate, Deathstroke, etc.) seem to be at par with newer Marvel minimates?

Edit: And no, this is not an attempt to derail the thread into "How I wish we still had DC minimates..." :deathstroke:

Yeah, I think Aquaman still looks modern when compared to most figures.

Just went to Ross and found Ant Man II and Kree Sentry which I've been looking all over for.

They had the variant?! Thats awesome, I went yesterday and just found another Iron Man and Arthur set.

well on a different, more topic related note, X-23's head flesh color is a different tone than her body flesh color. Currently trying to find a suitable replacement.

back to my smelly chun-li... Doom has new toy smell, and the others have a strange different reek to them. Chun-li being the worst offender.

How bad is the skin tone difference? Is it like Friends and Foes Black Cat?

Wrap Chun-Li in a dryer Bounce sheet, leave her in a ziplock for about a day, should get rid of the smell.

Does anyone have a picture of all the Darkstalkers together? Lilith, Demitri, Morrigan and Felicia?

Yesss! These came in the mail today, some quick notes:

Marrina's hair and Guardian's mask are TIGHT. Both made a trip to the ice cube tray to loosen up. Interesting, Marrina has a peghole head but no peg on her hairpiece. Is this re-used from an older mate I'm not aware of? Just seems odd.

Hoping that Aurora gets a single leg flight base so I can match her with Northstar. I use the double leg base for Guardian.

That Puck handstand is so many kinds of cool, wondering if we'll see it on a future Spider-Man or other acrobatic characters.

I can't explain it, but Puck just looks so...right. Even though he's not quite to scale there's just something so iconic about how he was done, might be my favorite in the set.

Need to stress again how awesome it is to be able to create alternate looks without needing to buy unwanted variants. Two looks for Northstar and three (!!) for Guardian. No other toyline gives you bang for your buck like Minimates.

Kind of surprised that Alpha Flight never really got a fair representation in any toyline before. There's something about the designs that just screams toy-friendly. Looking forward to Sasquatch/Shaman/Snowbird/Aurora and Vinidicator/Box!

I think besides Sasquatch and Guardian in Marvel Legends, AF has only been in one other toyline and it was a one off Toybiz wave.

Should be an awesome display, I still need to get the Quinjet for my 'Mates.

I think DST needs to re-release Hulkbuster. He wasn't a variant.

Maybe for Marvel's 10th anniversary we could see a re-release TRU wave of harder to find TRU exclusives.

How awesome would that be?

Is the Jean-Claude Van Damme set out? I think after the Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell) mate the JCVD is my most wanted celebrity based Minimate.

I picked up She-Hulk/Chun-Li & X-23/Felicia 2packs today at my LCS. The owner waited for me to get there to open the case, he knew I've been waiting for these puppies! I'm going to go back later this week to pick up Dr.Doom/Wesker & Ryu/Capt.America.

How is Felicia? She's my most wanted character out of this way, I'm so glad to have four Darkstalkers Minimates.

Historically I think Northstar has only played for one team, now Rictor, Shatterstar, Daken and possibly Hercules, they are another story.

I'm thinking of buying another set just so I can display Northstar with both hairpieces, and in two teams.

I am so stoked for this wave, and for SFxT, just the fact that I can add all these classic Capcom characters to my collection it makes me super happy. Also that MODOK looks amazing.

I always liked her design, I'm surprised the Morlocks weren't resurrected by Selene during Necrosha, what with almost every other dead Mutant being brought back.

Aw yeah Silver Samurai! He could be in my MvC2 collection as well.

If I still had money I would've bought Samus, I had her pre-ordered at one time, still don't know why I cancelled =( hopefully I won't have to cancel my Link pre-order.

Just found the Shield Agent and Jonah set, they also had the Eric Masterson set, and the Evil Daredevil and Elektra set.
