For SDCC I would rather see a box set that has average buyer appeal but also really appeals to the attendance at a comic con. A Clone Saga box set for example, has Spiderman for the average buyer but is a storyline a lot of collectors would also like to see featured.

Loeb's son has been memorialized in numerous ways since his passing, including a tribute issue of Superman/Batman. I wouldn't avoid the book because of that reason, or out of some sense of loyalty to Richard Ryder. This is comics, I'm sure he'll be back.

I think it has to do with one person Jean Grey. Her purpose is to unite the X-Men. She's the one that Scott and Logan will drop their issues for.

Time travel is nowhere near as complicated as people make it out to be. When you have inept writers like Bendis try to reinvent the rules, that's where problems start.
