Well, that took me to the same place, but I know the problem now. If the browser window is too small, it hides everything else besides the questions. Once I expanded the window, the sidebar popped up with the submit link. Thanks!

I'd like to submit something to Ask DST, but every time I click on any link on the AA site that says "Ask DST" it just bounces me back to the questions. I don't know if this is a browser specific issue or not(I'm on Safari). Does anyone have a direct link to where to actually submit a question?

Hellboy will forever remain at the top of my minimate want list until it's made. The Mezco Comic Hellboy & BPRD figures are still some of my absolute favorites. The Tick, Madman and Dick Tracy would be fantastic additions to minimates as well.

Well, if the Big Chap was needed to anchor the 2nd set, how about a smoky black translucent version, maybe even with specks in it to indicate star reflection as it's blown out the hatch.

Although I'd be partial to a glow in the dark version. Just because.

I remember when the direct market action figure industry tried their hand at this in the 90's with every wank-title out back then. Didn't really do so well. Even saw a lot of them on a discount table at a toy show last month, with plenty of 90's dust still on them.

Putting aside product design, line collectability and source material, the entire marketplace was different back then. How many copies of X-Men #1A, B, C, D and E are out there? Doesn't mean they should stop publishing X-Men comics.

To each their own, but this really seems like an unnecessary step backward for a company that just scored a major license at retail with TMNT.

Comic shops are our biggest customers after TRU. With Marvel and Skybound locked up and DC off the table, looking at some of the next-best-selling comic titles seems like a no-brainer.

Wait, they still make X-Men comics? To be fair, the last time I bought any comic in a shop was the last Y: The Last Man trade. (Which by the way still needs minimates…) I still visit there from time to time to see friends, but I can't say I've seen or heard anyone clamoring for GFT or any related titles. I'm probably just old.

I feel the need to clear my browser history after looking up zenescope to see what these were.

Well, from the Agents of SHIELD tv series, I can say all I'd really like is an updated Coulson. Now, if we were talking about the not-much-known-about-yet-upcoming Agent Carter SHIELD series, then the possibility of the Howling Commandos appearing would be a welcome minimate addition.

Why would it be TNBC? Wouldn't that be kinda random?

I'd rather see it used toward things like power loader or queen, or in a license like Battle Beasts where it builds a unique oversized beast. For standard minimates, like Marvel, I think an insert backdrop, similar to what DCD Pocket Heroes had, would be cool.

That's the same body they use on the ninjas in TRU's True Legends line, which are Mega Bloks rebranded for TRU. The big 1000+ piece nina dojo set is now clearance for $16 in store.

Ok, so now the question becomes "Which released mate has a suit that would be good to use for a quick Senator Kelly?".

JJJ has a perfect blue suit.

While adding the Sen. Kelly head is a fantastic addition to the set, Any casual collectors at the con who've never bought a minimate in a suit are going to wonder why Senator Kelly has boobs.

Has this coat been used before? I can't place it and I've looked at options previously to make a dofp Logan. Even though I wouldn't have used it due to it being way to olong.

Logan's coat is a little long. Like the set, but would really hope for Issue 141 cover to be worked into the package somehow. And those max Zombies tombstones to be repurposed with heroes names.

Edit - didn't see the cover posted the first time. Cool. I still have the Marvel Select figures recreation of that cover, with the backdrop. Gotta see how it'll work with minimates.

All of our sets this year are designed for broad appeal, not collector completionism. I think I've even said that there were no new characters in any of the sets.

That said, I believe/hope that many collectors will like them a lot, even if it's only from a visual/design perspective, and not necessarily a team-building perspective.

Just putting that out there.

I think that the overwhelming positive reactions in this community to the "Best of" Marvel series after they came out just goes to show that DST can make it fantastic even if it's a character we've already gotten multiple versions of. Even with no new characters, I think we all know in our plastic-addicted heads that we will love the set. I know I'm looking forward to the reveal!
