  1. Spidey web effects. The Webbed up “body” Luke did a while back is still one of my favorites. I’d also like to see a throwing effect shiewld for Cap and boot jets/repulsor blasts for Iron Man. I wonder if there’s a good way to do Hulk thunderclap hands too.

    Oh yeah, Thor Frog too.

It's very easy to find, it was the first result when I searched "minimates infinity war" on eBay.

    Iron Man & Thanos

Iron Spidey & Hulk (with a face that looks like normal Ruffalo only green)

Walgreens exclusive Star-Lord & Proxima Midnight

Walgreens exclusive Doctor Strange & Thor

and Hulk seems to have grey hair at his temples.

He'll actually come with three or four Black stands, counting the one under his jump stand. I used them all for this pic.

Please give him a white Puck hand so he can hold one of those stands out in front of him or to the side simulating he's about to jump through...

The tragedy of twice cancelled Hogun and Fandral leaves a hole in the MCU minimate line.  They were in all 3 Thor movies and will probably never be made.  At least we have their prototype artwork to think of what could have been.

And instead we had such winners like, t-shirt Thor, Regular Selvig, Underwear Party Selvig, Darcy, and Johnny Cash Loki.

...as there's one fairly comic-accurate character you've only gotten from a movie, ...

Harry Osborne? One movie minimate, he's the new cartoon, and never a comic counterpart. Of course, I'm not up to date on any of the current animated series either.

  6. I think one downfall of single carded minimates would be the lack of an anchor character to sell like the 2-pack has. History seems to have shown secondary characters won’t sell as well after the first case(s) are sold through. Imagine a peg full of Carrions, Collectors, Aunt Mays, Klaues, Wongs, Mariahs, and Blizzards.

As far as looks, I think it would look great if it were blister carded with a minimate render of the character next to the bubble, with “Collect them all” checklists on the back.

  7. I watched a few of the new Spider-Man cartoon and see that A.I.M. Troopers make an appearance, albeit in a more modern look. Under the Animated license, would it be possible to release the animated version with a pack-in “bekeeper” helmet for an alternate classic look? Or is the Animated line pretty much bare-bones?

  8. I think the Jackal in general is a poor design whether animated or 616. But the only thing that really bugs me about the minimate is the shoulder/torso bulk piece. It just doesn't look right. The legs are weird but that's a product of the poor designs of the new cartoon. I don't know anything about Screwball but the minimate has a serious case of man-face. I'm okay with the rest, including MODOK. We already have a great one, but I like this one being different and having the oversized minimate cylinder head.

Will we be getting any "animated" SpiderMan Into The SpiderVerse minimates?

  9. I would have gladly sacrificed two of the released Lokis to get Hogun and Fandrall finally. Seriously, what do these two have to do in a movie to get noticed? Now it seems like that opportunity is gone with the next phase of Marvel movies coming after Infinity War.

Luke has them in stock, again! Delayed last time and regretted it, this time, I got 'em! I actually saw a live Muppets Performance at the Hollywood Bowl a few months ago, and it was really great. I was resigned to never getting these, but things change!

Thanks for the heads up! I was finally able to order the set so I could complete my Electric Mayhem! I had about given up finding half this wave!

  11. Aside from the distribution and chase around town to various Walgreens, I like the Animated waves. I’m an old school comic reader who prefers the 70’s and 80’s looks, but these days, the minimate comic waves that are based on current stories are lost on me. Comics are so unreadable for anyone jumping in that I don’t know who half of them are anymore. At least with the Animated stuff I have some connection as I can watch the cartoons without feeling like I have to watch 20 different shows just to know what’s going on.
