Amazing pictures...still gutted about BB series 2. I am assuming they will end up like Calico Jack's or MAX.

Can't wait to see the giveaways, I now only live one state away from SDCC so I cannot wait to come up next year and be able to say I've seen the glorious chops in more than one state.

The Hall Of Justice definitely looks like it would work and easily tie the odd ball team I have together. I'm still looking at other options, especially the thought of setting up an action scene. All the pre-made dios I'm seeing are for tabletop games and much to small for 2'' toys, so the search continues. Thank you for the great ideas!

I'm ideally looking for something square shaped that I can then enclose in a plastic case or something. I would really like that type of display.

So I have skimmed my DC collection a little bit ( a lot ) and am left with only the figures that I like visually. Green Arrow, Batman ( not ordered yet but will be obtaining one somehow, battle damaged or undamaged modern blue ) , Nightwing (non-c3), Dr.Fate, Steel, Green Lantern ( Hal Jordan ). Since they are so limited in number and an oddball team, I have no idea how to display them.

I'm open to purchasing a pre-made miniature diorama type thing as well as some DC villains but given the eclectic line-up I have no idea how to not make this look not ridiculous to me. Even the line-up itself is silly to me, but it makes me happy...I just need ideas for a display.

Blow my mind please. You all are toy geniuses.

I'm waiting for Zach to chime is with rumors and words and tears...to give us some hope.

If only there was some kind of database listing all Minimates and series that one could browse..,.

I think the only line that hasn't been mentioned that I would recommend is Tomb Raider: great figures and fairly easy to get right now.

I've been looking through the Database but it really doesn't tell me how much they go for on eBay or what the frequency of them popping up is. Buttsheadsmate does that much better.

I'm impressed that this thread is still going but really glad to see Minimates are doing well and expanding.

TMNT to me is really a massive opportunity considering that the show has been renewed for two more seasons, retail is doing amazingly well and the current season isn't even over!

Out of curiosity, if they never got an official release I assume it is insiders selling them, correct? I always loved the SHS aesthetic and my son loved the cartoon, so it definitely crossed my mind when I first saw the toys. Good to know not to fall into that abyss.

I started collecting DC minimates a few years ago and shortly after realized they were no longer being made and was extremely disappointed at the financial lengths I had to go to in attempt to complete that collection. In addition to the, at least to me, ridiculous cost, I clearly have some sort of OCD type condition to where I cannot purchase one off toys or a few from a collection for myself. It takes away from the enjoyment of this hobby greatly but really it is what it is.

Currently I have a complete Thundercats collection that makes me very happy for lack of a more appropriate word as well as all retail and promo Battle Beasts which I love.

My question is, what other lines, or possibly even sub-sets such as various Marvel teams can I possibly complete as of now with what you would consider to be "average" financial means.

I'm open to other mini-figure lines as well and am very interested in Transformers Kreons. My son loves them and I am a huge Transformers fan.

I don't collect to collect, but don't hear about toylines either unless I see them at TRU so here's me asking.

Guide me oh wise ones!

Hopefully something comes of this. Perhaps a continuation of the comic spurs on the release of the second line? Were there sales numbers on the comics? The trade paper back even?

Firstly,I didn't know about the exclusive Zach was handing out, and while I thanked him for it ( he even offered my 2 year old son one but I didn't want to shorten the supply available to the rest of you ) I am sitting with it at home and have realized I do not collect blanks, and having one is bothering me. I think I am willing to part with it for specific mates, or the ever weakening dollar. Message me if anyone is still looking.

Also, Zach is amazing! I was told that there is a lot going against Battle Beasts series 2. Has anyone heard anything else? Were BB mentioned during the panel? PANEL updates pretty please.

Before I forget, THANK YOU YB. I was only there for few hours on Friday morning so I missed out on the TMNT mates and seeing pictures made my day!

My birthday elephant is awesome.

I got three bags of delicious candy,some Battle Beast buttons which as far as I'm aware are custom made and look amazing. A set of Luke's Toy Store exclusive OMFG monsters which my son loves ( and I might have to start collecting ) not to mention Zik/Vorin SDCC pack and the ENTIRE specialty BB wave.

Anyone have any thoughts on whether they will renew for season 2, I really haven't enjoyed the show till they introduced Deathlok and more comicverse aspects but now would like to see if they can redeem themselves.

Bam! My Birthday Elephant strikes first! Which is good because my birthday is this week.

I got a package from my Birthday Elephant last Friday, containing all sorts of birthday goodies. Lots of peanut butter candy goodness - M&Ms, Reeces Pieces and Reeces Hearts - and lots of Minimate goodness, including a Through the Ages Hulk set, an extra scorpion and a Sun Queen. But my favorite part was a repainted Battle Beast snake in cool icy blue. This snow serpent was nicely redone - love the color choices and the dry brushing. No one ever makes the customizer a custom, so I appreciate the snake greatly.

I tried. Glad you didn't hate it. I wasn't sure if the Reeces Hearts would take our indirect internet communication to an uncomfortably close level...but here's to hoping. ( my wife thought it would be hilarious...but from the sounds of it you just ate them without regard for what form the pb and chocolate took ) Hope you enjoyed your birthday and the Hulks!
