With DST seemingly focusing more on Vinimates and the much slower releases of new minimate waves, I found myself losing interest in minimates . And I have been around since the days of the 3" minimates, the Kiss ones being my first purchase. This is the first minimate news in a while that is of interest to me and might bring me back into the fold, minimate-wise.
( I also like the recent 1,000,000 BC wave. At least these are new characters rather than the 100th version of Spider-man or Iron Man).
Hopefully DST does something worthwhile with the Bruce Lee license though we probably won't see anything until well into 2019.

I am surprised that we didn't see anything for Infinity War at this year's Toy Fair with the movie only being 2.5 months away.

Shang Chi, Master of Kung Fu was my favorite series when Doug Moench and Paul Gulacy were the writer/artist on this series. Not a fan really of what Marvel has done with him since. Still would love at least one minimate of him. And can we have one of his father too?

I thought at the beginning of this year that Uatu was confirmed to be released as a minimate this year. Or was that wishful thinking on my part.
Zach, can you confirm if we will be getting an Uatu minimate in the near future?
Still waiting for Shang-chi, Master of Kung Fu to be released in minimate form.

Thanks.

Hi. Just wondering if anyone else in Canada has had this experience. Had order the Spongebob minimates series 1 through my local comicshop and they were scheduled to come in mid-April. However I then found out that Diamond had cancelled the order saying that they were unavailable to be shipped in Canada (rights issues?). Can anyone confirm this? If so, I guess I have to find them through other means. Thanks.

Hey fellas,
The promo goblins are up on Paizo.com.
Just search "Minimates".
They listed only 3 of the promo goblins. Isn't there one missing?
-
I had ordered two of each.
Contacted their customer service and they said that 6 of the 8 will be shipping on January 13th. They are trying to get more of the figures to complete my order.
Hopefully it just means that I will be missing the 2nd of each goblin, though it probably means that they have run out of a particular goblin.

I wish they were still showing up in the TRUs stores up in Canada but the last wave coming up our way was the Tomb Raider minimates.
Am missing those Walking Dead minimates Wave 5.

My favorite ST series was Deep Space Nine, with the Next Generations second. Enterprise was on the right track but unfortunately its run was prematurely ended. Each of the series struggled to find its way through its first two seasons before finding the right storyline/narrative.
I thought Deep Space Nine had such a great story arc over its seven years, though its great run didn't really start until Worf got added to the cast. What other ST series ended with millions of a particular race killed in a war (Cardassians)!! I am a bit miffed that with all of the ST minimate wave releases, that we still haven't Worf released as a minimate yet. Ones that would had made sense was Work in his Next Generations outfit, Deep Space outfit, Klingon battle armor, etc. It suffered from a bit of the "Stars repeat Syndrome" in that there were too many versions of Kirk and Spock released.
I would be satisfied if we can just get a 5 pack release for each ST series. We need our Worf and Data minimates!

Well it took a little while but I finally received the C2E2 blank minimate up here in Canada, and coincidentally on my birthday. How's that for karma.
Anyways, just want to thank TBT and Shane again for arranging the contest and sending out the prizes.
May Minimates live long and prosper!

I would guess re-releases of existing figures before blind boxes. .
Uh-oh. That would be a bummer.

We need some minimates from the Master of Kung Fu corner of the Marvel Universe. When the team of Doug Moench/Paul Gulacy was on that magazine, there were few titles at the time that were better written or drawn.
It would be nice to get Shang-Chi in minimate form, his colleagues such as Clive Reston and Black Jack Tarr,as well as some of his opponents such as Cat or Razor Fist. I know we won't get Shang-Chi's father Fu Manchu due to rights issues.

I second Blacksun post. Thanks TBT for arranging the contest. I have sent you my contact information.
Will be looking to add the minimate to my plastic addiction ... I mean collection.

I love minimates because of the amount of detail and personality that DST is able to pack into such a small package, much like my wife.
And she has many points of articulation too.
-
Zach, do you know if the exculsive minimates offer is good for us Canadians too? Thanks
-
Hi. Just wondering if anyone has seen this series in the Canadian TRU stores yet? Thanks.

Hi.
Shortly after Zach had let us know that they had put the plastic circular stands on sale on the Diamond Toy's website, I had placed my order for a large number of these. My order was placed on September 28th and I am still waiting for the order to be shipped. The replies from Diamond to my enquiries is that due to 'technical glitches' with placing these on their website is causing the delay. Come on! Really.
Just wondering if anyone has the same experience or have they received their order?
Zach, if you can provide a better explanation.
Thanks.
