Ok so from what I've seen so far, it seems people in the East are already getting their hands on these. One person in California got his hand on them. Anyone in Texas seen them around? I'm in West Texas. Two TRU's and one an hour away in New Mexico. I must get my hands on my favorite version of Psylocke!!!

Just checked at my TRU in Kalamazoo, MI and it appears they haven't gotten them in yet. But on the plus side I was able to pick up Wave 36 sans the variant when I was picking up my comics.

I really hope these show up online soon, the hunt for these exclusive waves really burn me out.

Me too. I've been going to TRU everyday since i found this wave is out. Its only 5 minutes from where I live and employees are oblivious to what I'm looking for. Betsy is Mine!!!

With the X-Force boxset coming out at the same time, I hope they go all out and do every character from the 90's X-Men cartoon.

We're getting closer - i don't think we'll see a Morph though since he was (sort of) made up for the show.

I have a custom 90's Morph minimate. It's easy to make just get that wolverine with that stock blue and yellow uniform, grab an extra Peter Parker face, I'm everyone has one of those lying around somewhere. Then just get 90's cyclops alternate hairpiece and there you have it! Morph!

Ok Ok, someone explain this to me. This set is for the SDCC which means it will only be available there? Or how does this work? I've never bought a SDCC set before but this I have to have! Pardon my ignorance BTW.

I'm somewhat surprised we haven't seen anyone come up with some cool New Mutants customs. The costumes are almost like the first appearance X-Men minimates.

I gave Spider-Woman both Black Bolt's wings and X-23's hair, which I think looks alot more comic accurate. I also gave Batwoman Black Queen Jean's cape, which looks pretty cool IMO.

I was also curious if anyone has tried to do the same thing with the Sub-Mariner? (I'd try to do it, but if I atempted to paint it gold, I bet I'd screw it up)

hulk197 is correct. I got both the stair display cases and single display cases at the container store. They are relatively cheap ($9.99 and 4.99, I think). I also get my storage containers for extra minimates at the container store. When I get home, I will try to post some pictures of the storage containers in case anyone is interested in them.

I really like that 3 step display, I can see from Luke's site that it can hold at least twelve minimates. This is something I'm going to consider for sure!

It's a shame. I hate having to check the store every so often to see if I get lucky. I don't enjoy the thrill of the hunt like others do. Online preorders would be so much easier and give us a piece of mind.

I love your customs, especially your selection of characters. I Made a custom Dazzler with decals but I refuse to sculpt or paint anything lol. I think the Psylocke would look awesome with that weird hair she used to have, like a giant bun or beehive. Great job! I want to see you do more customs!

I completely agree with this. Psylocke is my Favorite X-Man and I would never in a million years think we would get an old-school version! This gives me hope that other awesome obscure characters will be made!

I completey agree, I use the database all the time, even just to look and appreciate other minimates I don't have. Did anyone notice on April Fool's day everything was backwards. That was hilarious! Good job! And kudos!

I hate to be a nay-sayer, but judging from the pics on the AA website, i can't see anything packed in next to Betsy. Not a purple hair-piece, not a TK katana, not a TP Butterfly effect.

I'm betting the Selene hair piece will be included in a purple color. It's probably the only hairpiece that will fit with that cape design. I actually want to get two Betsys to display with the hood and without. The Australia era of the X-men is one of my favorite periods in X-men history. Here's an interesting bit I found about the armor Betsy wore back then.

"Psylocke's body armor is a unique suit of armor worn by Psylocke. The first appearance of the armor is in Wolverine Vol 1. #5. Wolverine had the armor custom ordered through a firm named "Landau, Luckman & Lake" for a colleague (presumably Psylocke). Mr. Chang, an agent of Landau, Luchman & Lake, loaned the armor to Linsday McCabe since she had been sent to him by Wolverine. Issues #6-7 of Wolverine Vol. 1 feature Tyger Tiger wearing the body armor. Tiger get's trapped in the armor due to a built in security mechanism, but Wolverine gets her out before she is in any real danger. Psylocke wore the armor from issue #232 of Uncanny X-Men to issue #251. The impervious nature of the armor allowed to go out into the field with the group more often than she was able to before."

I'm not much into the Inhumans but here's to us getting the complete set of Inhumans and Outback X-men in the near future!!!
