On a serious note, I talked to Chuck about that at C2E2. We both still really want 007. The thing is, they're not letting the license go... to ANYONE. Hot Toys tried for the 007 license and the Brocolis said no. So we just kind of geeked out and made our own little wish lists and sighed at the futility of it. That was fun!

And lets be honest. Minimates are probably the most accessible thing in the world. Look at the list of stuff we thought we'd never see. DST does it because they can, and it sells. So whatever pack in figure we might want, just ask for it, and there's a chance it'll happen on its own.

Ugh. That was... Man. I did not care for that one at all. This movie really sufferes from the lack of Chris Snaders. I think it was that tag team writing/directing that made the first one so sharp. This? This was a mess.

I really don't get why we're discussing this, especially BHM, when this has been the way it is for 10 years. I'm not saying discussion is a bad thing, but it seems to me like one of the few certainties when it comes to Minimates. Take away 2" block figures, and what are Minimates?

Remember when Minimates were at TRU? Those were the good ol' days.

I just don't get it. I didn't understand Aliens, I didn't understand Robocop or Terminator or Predator. These movies were clearly intended for adults, yet they were targeted at children. I've never understood that.

I'll never understand the practice of kids toys for R rated movies, given that I was not allowed to watch R rated movies until I was legally allowed to watch them. >.>
