  1. Here is my list for 2014-17 (more of a fantasy - what would make DST a ton of money fantasy)

Major Movie Franchise Category (T2, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Aliens): Star Wars

Minor Movie Category (Rocky, Platoon, Dollar Western Trilogy, DSS, Silence of Lambs, Universal Monsters): The Matrix, E.T.

Video Game Category (Street Fighter 2, Sony, Halo, Tomb Raider): Final Fantasy

SciFi TV Category (Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica): Dr. Who

Nostalgia/80s TV Category (Knight Rider, Munsters, Thundercats): Dukes of Hazzard, A-Team, Miami Vice

Independent Category (MAX Heroes, Femme Fatales, Calico Jack): MAX Soldiers (packs and boxsets with Army guys, Roman legion, Samurai, Civil War)

Comics Category (Marvel, The Walking Dead, Invincible, DC, BattleBeasts): Hellboy

  2. Given Uriel's artistic genius, I must assume this video is a slow motion edit of his drawing skills. In reality, Uriel's hands move so fast a regular person cannot see them. Minimate goodness simply pours forth from his hand colored blur.

If you play the video backwards, you can hear Chuck chant, "One Spider-Man. One Spider-Man. One Spider-Man to rule them all!"

  3. Oh, oh, tell tell!

Part of me thinks you are secretly Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. You have the wealth of the kingdom at your fingertips, and you've grown to enjoy the smaller things in life in all their pun-y glory.

'My story' is perhaps worth listening to yet my 'wife' ....God bless her.....

A clever clue? Indeed, God Bless Her Majesty the Queen.

    The real BHM?

  4. BHM - Have you ever disclosed what you are doing with the mountain of Minimates you are amassing? I remember seeing you had a case of Hulkbusters at one point. Are you going to open a UK Minimates store eventually? Do you dream of one day cornering the market in Minimates and ruling the world? Or will we eventually read reports of you dying under a crush of cases of Minimates?

I'm glad you are doing this, man. Let's me tell my wife I'm not that crazy. "See honey, I've only got about two thousand of these little guys. This guy has millions!" smile.png

  5. CUT OFF THE BACK OF THE LOIN CLOTH.

You raise a bigger issue. How does the real soar-on wear his loin cloth? Does he bare his prehistoric cheeks to the savage world below? Or does he have a specially tailored loin cloth that let's his tail swing freely while providing modest coverage for his nethers?

As the team exited the Blackbird into the humid Savage Land darkness, Wolverine growled, "Bubs, looks like it's going to be a full moon tonight."

  6. I love AFX for doing double box set exclusives. I'd love to see:

    SDCC Brotherhood of Evil Mutants

    First Appearance Magneto

    Toad

    Mastermind

    Green Suit Quicksilver

    NYCC Brotherhood of Evil Mutants

    Mystique

    Blob

    Pyro

    Avalanche

  7. If anyone has, and could pick up a couple of Rolento packs next time you go by TRU, let a brother know. Not sure why, but I never saw them in the store, and they are near non-existent on eBay, and sold out of TRU's site. I didn't think a mid-level boss from Final Fight would be so popular, though I do understand the attractiveness of the bear.

Rolento parts will make a great GIJoe Flint. Bear is perfect for Ursa Major. I got an extra for this reason.

LOL. It's appreciated if you run across Hellpop. I need a Rolento for my Capcom collection, and I need an extra beret. . .for a secret custom project that no one would ever guess in 100 years.

    Superduponte!

  8. Gentlemen,

If we are going to wish for a West Coast Avengers box set, I don't think one will suffice. We need two box sets.(AFX Exclusives), one for SDCC and one for NYCC.

    SDCC West Coast Avengers

    Vision

    Hawkeye

    Mockingbird

    Graviton

    NYCC West Coast Avengers

    Rhodes Iron Man

    Wonder Man

    Tigra

    Immortus

  9. Recently read (via Audible and LA traffic commute):

The Forever War by Dexter Filkins - nonfiction. Amazing war stories about the Afghanistan and Iraq wars from an embedded Pulitzer Prize winning journalist.

11-22-63 by Stephen King - fiction about a man who travels back in time to stop the Kennedy assassination. My favorite King book since The Stand, has won numerous awards. I'm three fourths of the way through.
