  1. Try the Disney Store, Webs. I found him and Madame Masque there.

I checked there a couple weeks ago (when I picked up the avengers box sets) and nada

    Which one is Piledriver?

    The white guy

I have a loosey goosey Piledriver if you aren't building Zola, would be willing to trade if you like.

  2. I hope Winter Soldier isn't in the supporting character selection, which would indicate he's in their plans. He's a viable enough character with his own book, it shouldn't take a poll to get DST's attention. Of course, I've been wrong before.

You do know that Thunderstrike and Quasar had their own comic too right?

  3. Ghost Rider and Iron Man 2020 for me (although Arno Stark wasn't really a hero...)

I love that we got to vote for this wave, but the selections themselves were... a bit... em... obscure. I feel like there were potentially better choices for a few of them. I mean, c'mon, Cap Wolf is a more legit variant than Commander Rogers? I know, I know, we've been over the Rogers thing, just... Cap Wolf? And Cyber Spidey... did that actually happen, or was it one of those goofy things they put on a cover for shock value? It would be rad if Deathlok shows up in the support staff poll... Maverick could be a nice round-out for team X Wolvie (although as another mutant-power-to-inexplicably-make-things-go-your-way-while-shooting-guns-at-people character, I wasn't crazy about him).

Sorry to be a drag. Like I said, Zach, you did great going to bat for the fans, and I get that this is kind of a "sausage-making" compromise.

Hey, I would LOVE to get any of these guys. No sausage here. It was actually tough to narrow it down, but when given an option, I went with a Cap that was very different from other Caps, and would otherwise never get made. And we've been over Steve Rogers. Commander Rogers is not Captain America. Let's move on. Spider-Man was actually a cyborg once, yes.

Well in that case it was Ghost 'John' Ritter and Mr. Wolfencap.... Mr. Fancy Pants and your randomizing polls....thinkin' yer better than everyone....Guys a jerk.

  4. Just picked up Keaton Batman today, went into the store and it turns out they just restocked Nicholson Joker and Superman. It was a tough decision but I stuck to my guns and went with Batman. This thing does not disappoint, coolest toy I have ever owned, now hopefully the other two stay in the store long enough for me to get em.

  5. Hey gang, been awhile for a post in this thread. Been having a bad time dealing with stuff outside of here. The one thing that helps keep my head from exploding (not literally) and keeps my mind off things really is minimates. Customizing, seeing new stuff, seeing new customs, BHM's wild posts, etc... Thanks for letting me hang out, even if I'm just sitting in the corner evesdropping.

I've been meaning to update this for awhile, but just usually manage a quick little post here and there. I hope to get all my new stuff up here, like the new custom con stuff, and the stuff that BoB Harris has started to do reveals of on his BAMF! blog. And actuaslly a lot more customs than I have done in years.:whistling::thumbsup: But until then. here is a little teaser pic,I whipped up on my iphone

    General Kael from Willow?

  6. Wishlist all you like. Now that this wave is out, I'm only coming back if we get reports of packs where Cap was switched with Thor, or a bunch of Black Widows shipped with Tony Stark's face.

Didn't know/remember that the U-Foes were in EMH. Hrm. And now I want to see a Bi-Beast head...

I got a part of a hot dog with a helmet instead of Thor... I was going to take it back since I figured it was a mistake, but then I remembered every now and then mispackaging can be valuable.

  7. Super pumped, picking up my very first Hot Toys figure this Saturday. Grabbing up some 89 Keaton Batman from my LCS. I'm not the world's biggest fan of that version of Bats, but I can't just let it sit there any longer, it looks too damn pretty....even though I may end up trading it for something more....Marvel.

  8. Being American, my knowledge of monarchy is limited, (aristocracy, absolutely; monarchy not so much) but I was under the impression that Charles has been unpopular since divorcing Diana and getting remarried. Admittedly, since we cover Ol' Chuck like just another celebrity, it may be he's in the American press's doghouse more than anything else. But at 63, and his mother still rolling along, wouldn't it make much more sense for him to just let the crown pass to the younger, more well reguarded William rather than be King-for-a-day?

I may be wrong but I believe that since Charles proceeded with a divorce in return he forfeited the possibility of the crown.
