We gotta local poll for this yet to find out what we're more than likely getting? OP?
-
More zombies, always welcome.

Yeah don't fret over lego BB's aside from looking like a weirdo it's easy to get 95% accurate from the feels of the bag.

Anyone see the deadpool wolverine set around or know of a place to get a decent prices Deadpool? I had 0 interest in that figure/set but after picking up the MODOK set and getting taskmaster along with it, I basically need one now...

Omgomgomgimfingifnhsgagsywnahsbsh.... Dead.
I'm so pumped I wake up little kid style on the weekends for my cereal and turtles all thanks to this newest rendition. It's amazing and I'm so pumped for mates for it!

Awesome, thanks Z dog 9000

So my wife made me realize something that I do that I never noticed I might be the only one that does so I figured I would reach out to see what other weird toy buying habits people have out there. Here's mine.
So when I buy toys I leave them in the bag until I have to poop. Then whilst pooping I open them and sit them in the counter next to me. Yeah it's weird but it's private time....
What's yours?

Don't see these on the 10/30 shipping list from Diamond. Typo? Or pushed back?

Good luck man, I did the same myself.... except mates that is....

I wasn't going to do it.
The last Star Wars Lego set I got was the Attack of the Clones Republic Gunship when it first came out (if that tells you anything time-wise - it came out around the time of the movie), and unless I win the lottery, catching up is going to be unrealistically expensive.
The Marvel/DC/Pirates of the Caribbean/Indiana Jones/Prince of Persia/Harry Potter ones tempted me plenty.
But being incomplete with Star Wars bugged the crap out of me (still does), Minimates ruined me on Lego figures, and Lego has gotten really pricey.
I told myself I am going to be a completist with all the Tolkien sets (so far, so good).
Turtles, I was all jazzed for (it is definitely the thing I remember being the most into as a child - honestly, more than ANYthing else), but right before they came out, I looked at how expensive Lego sets are, and the few LotR sets I was missing at the time (I have them all now, Hobbit, too), and just decided to pass like the other licenses.
Then I saw the Lair in stores, and was like, "Okay, I'll get THIS, and the other two Turtles and Shredder off eBay. Then I'm done."
Then I got my tax refund, and set about getting it. The only other sets Target had were Shredder's Bike & Kraang's Lab, and that would've finished my desired figures, so I bit. The bike is okay. I put it away in storage. The Lab is small, but I set the pieces next to the Lair, as if it belonged to Donny, not the Kraangs. I set the skateboard/go-cart thing next to Mikey in the Lair.
The Lair is amazing. I love it. I'll take a picture when I get some free time. Mikey's watching TV with pizza. Splinter's up in the trees, meditating. Leo is practicing with the Shredder dummy. Donny's "doing science". And Raph is streetside fighting Shredder, the 3 Foot Soldiers, and the other Ninja that came with one of the sets (the Lair, I think). I gave Splinter one of the "slime drips" (the small, rod ones) as his staff, since the 5" figure comes with a translucent bluish-green one (I've only seen the first few episodes, I have the rest on my DVR, and it's been awhile since the last one I watched, so I don't really remember what his staff was like in the show).
But, yeah, I dig them quite a bit. I'll probably get the rest, lol. Stupid childhood memories.
Even though, yes, these are all from the new cartoon, not the 80s one I grew up with.
Haha, awesome! I did the EXACT same thing with Splinter. Was actually bummed when it wasn't setup that way. I have mine all boxed up atm though getting ready to move into a new MUCH larger house (complete with my own private nerdatorium mwahahahaha). Also, that extra ninja is Dogpound pre-ooze. Too bad he didn't come with his Chuck Norris hair cut.

EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! So awesome!! When are they coming out? "Summer"? I wonder if we're getting any new Hobbit sets any time soon.
I got my tax refund Friday, and spent all weekend building the last three sets. I am so in love with Helm's Deep, it's not even funny, lol.
Yeah man, I bought two extra wall sets for more Rohanians and Urukhai. Only used one wall to add on the Helms though, nice to have the extra pieces.

Loving the LOTR Hobbit sets! Now officially a completist with these, plus plenty of Uruk-hai sets. For anyone else, here are some leaks of the upcoming sets.
There were some pics, but looks like they pulled them. Also, there are still hints of a Balrog/Gandalf set. I'm just pumped for the Mouth of Sauron!
79005 The Wizard Battle … a small set featuring Gandalf The Grey, Saruman and Eye of Sauron (which appeared to be a special minifig head, although no idea on details as it wasn’t actually there … just an artists impression!). Price point £11.99.
79006 The Council of Elrond … there’s a sort of building and a table, around which I assume the council can gather. Features 4 minifigures, Elrond, Arwen, Frodo and Gimli. Price point £29.99.
79007 Battle At The Black Gate … an impressive looking black castle type thing, featuring 5 minifigures, Aragorn, Gandalf The White, Mouth Of Sauron and 2 Mordor Orcs. Price point £59.99.
79008 Pirate Ship Ambush … a rather large pirate ship, although the deck is quite sparse. PLENTY of minifigures though … Aragorn, Legolas Greenleaf, Gimli, King Of The Dead, 2 Soldier’s Of The Dead, Pirate of Umbar (which I believe was played by Peter Jackson himself in the film) and 2 Mordor Orcs. Price point £89.99.

Kind of bummed lady venom doesn't include the symbiote arms (as shown on back of the packaging).

Just went to my local Gamestop and asked the clerk if they had any more Elrond figures. Guy just handed me one and said take it easy! Woot woot for $20 I don't have to spend!

Hobbit lego sets are now officially out at Walmart, only snagged the Hobbit house but they appeared to have all sets except for the Barrell Escape and the Goblin King. FYI the house is AMAZING!
Annoyed that fell through actually. I normally get loads of the free Lego sets for some charity work I do at Xmas. If the papers start them off again I will try to grab extras for anyone who is after them.
Further to my earlier post, looks like we'll get these at the end of the month now. There's a Frodo set too. Again, I'll try to get extras, but would appreciate a small donation to the charity I'm working for for my efforts.
PM me if interested.
Just now returning to this post after some time. I appreciate all the info you have given! If you still have any of the urukhai left I would be greatly interested! Oh and thanks for the Elrond info now I have to scour eBay for one!

Bought 3 Brood packs, 1 was perfect, 1 had its leg fall off IMMEDIATELY, and 1 is about to suffer the same fate.

Not that I think any bit of this wave is in anyway bad, but does anyone think it would be cooler to have a Bulked Up Grey Hulk to go along with that Banner? Would be a cool throwback that hasn't been revisited. Also...we have a lot of bulked up hulks now. Either way, this set will be killer.
